  1. Have you tried porting old Iron Front missions? If so you might encounter some errors converting .ifa to .pbo. Also did you make this mission and than port it to the server? Do other IFA3Lite missions work or do you get the same error for all missions? thanks
  2. Hey Vasily, thanks for the feed back. I replied to your issues below. 1. I just tried in game both bazooka and panzershreck and they do not behave like they are guided. can you make a video of this? 2. there are some issues still with textures on tanks that will be fixed moving forward. the main idea is to get the tanks and vehicles working almost 100% before fixing the little things. 3. not sure what you mean by burned. can you take a few pics and upload to phab where KJU asked you to report them. 4. they will not be detachable...for now. the old Iron Front way of damage has been removed in the process to make the switch to A3 and RAM mod will be used instead. At some point the detachable parts will be added back through scripting, but again first things first is to get the vehicles and tanks running without issues. 5. see answer above 6. this needs to be fixed. 7. still working out the bugs with PhysX and the tanks. 8. looks to be working for me when I drive it in game. can you provide a sample or short video of this and upload to phab please. thanks again!!
  3. The traverse speeds for some tanks are not correct and Panther is one of them. I pointed this out during testing just before the latest patch was released. I am sure this will be fixed before the next patch is released.

    Doesn't work all the time. Most times you get to do it once or twice and then it stops working. If it worked all the time I wouldn't be asking for specific keys or the option to map the keys this way. I like a lot of the replies in here. It shows BIS there is a dedicated group out there large enough that has been begging for better damage modelling, control, tactics and employment of armoured vehicles, not forgetting a decent penetration system that doesn't end in the tanks automatically blowing up after getting hit once. Lets hope they don't disappoint us!

    Don't recall seeing this either. mapable keys so i can just hit a key and move from commander to gunner without having to scroll through the mouse wheel to choose. Also the ability to change the ammo load out depending upon the situation you are facing. maybe also allow hull gunner to share his mg rounds for turret gunner or outside mounted mg's.

    Don't recall seeing this in the thread yet, but add the ability to add armor plates to vehicles, or side skirts. ie/ numerous WW2 pics with tanks adding pieces of track to front hull or turret to offset penetration of rounds or cause the chance the round will be deflected and not penetrate. Or just the ability to ad storage containers to tanks, etc. extra wheels/tracks, drums, bags etc...

    Do we really? No actually, what we have has existed since OFP. Have you played Iron front or Lib 41-45 mod back in the day? I am looking for what the RAM mod brings to the table along with the damage model Iron Front had. After 16 years of new pretty units, new pretty islands and objects don't you think it is time we had more realism in our damage model to tanks and vehicles? Quoting wiki that you linked to... Concluding Remarks on Armor & Penetration in Arma 3In vanilla A3, the effects of armor are largely ignored by the damage system. More accurately: armor penetration is present, but its significance is overwhelmed by the global hitpoint effectthis due in part to the way hitpoint "spheres" are placed in many Arma vehicles the effects are particularly dramatic for high damage-value weapons and for indirectHit weapons. Caliber-based ballistics work very well, but caliber is bugged for rockets & missiles (it can't be added). Nor can the submunition feature be used as a workaround (it is also bugged for missiles, and limited/unreliable for anything other than high-trajectory artillery shells). A script-based approach must be used to enable those weapon types to penetrate armor correctly. RAM contains such an approach.

    1. Interiors 2. AI behavior - have role specifics ie/ driver has certain behavior routines associated with his position, experienced loader speeds up load times etc... 3. Damage and Penetration model - even as simple as a WW2 model to get something up and running so mod guys can then add their own two cents until a complete model can be implemented 4. See RAM mod as a basis if necessary by Olds an Bakerman or.... 5. HIRE Lib 41-45 / Iron Front developers - they had a complete damage and penetration working model albeit buggy sometimes in MP but working none the less when many said it couldn't be done... and even 16 years ago. 6. HIRE Lib 41-45 / Iron Front developers - just do it and save yourself some time and effort BIS

    IFA3WarMod Release

    What are you using as a browser? It works fine with Chrome but doesnt like internet explorer. Try Chrome and then uninstall it after you are done maybe.
  11. I thought their new content was made for A3 and not IF as evidenced by their damage models they used for the new tanks and vehicles Gunter has implemented in his warmod. Anyways, I agree with Gunter's post above, why cant Tyranos import those new models used in the warmod and made by WOG into IFA3 lite if they are already configured to be used in A3 with A3's model rules? Looking forward to be able to use tanks again in IFA3.

    thinking of upgrading GPU for arma 3...

    I run Arma3 in SLI (works great for me) on 3 monitors and still average anywhere from min 25 to 80+ fps with all details at high minus post process and aa. VD is 8000m with object draw at 2500m. I have often thought about upgrading the video card but when the game is cpu bound more than anything, what's the point? See my sign for more details.
  16. Kju, I hope you are able to keep the piecemeal destruction of the parts falling off of vehicles as this is one of the reasons as why IF so great.

    Really? Are you sure about this? If you are then you don't play with tanks at all because they are broken in MP using a server. Anyways... Looking forward to your released work!!!!

    Iron Front in Arma 3

    Gunter, just tried the links for patches ifa3 from 1.05 to 1.13 do not work. the DlC patches from 1.00 to 1.08 also do not work. This is on the patches page of the MR for IFA3 (Iron Front in A3 patches page)
  22. If Gunter doesn't get you Iron Front in the next few days for some reason, I have a few copies laying around as well and your welcome to have one. :)
