  1. Just a quick "THANK YOU" note for TPW mods. I do a TON of single player gaming and your mods TRULY bring the world to LIFE. Civilians walking around. Furniture in houses. Crowds in the street. Animals everywhere. Puddles after a hard rain. Extra sounds. Various enemy factions fighting each other. A-10 warthogs dive bombing enemy targets. Helicopters wreaking havoc on enemy positions. And that barely scratches the surface of all the amazing extras you put into TPW mods. Thank you so much. I constantly try different options in the config file. I really enjoy single player in ARMA 3 so much MORE because of you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
  2. 2 suggestions for TPW mods: 1) Every gas station seems to have a repair garage. Is there a way those repair garages can be set to automatically repair vehicles??? It would be great if you could go to a gas station, and pull a vehicle near the garage for repairs! 2) A "park" option for boats, that would randomly attach a FEW (small) boats to various boat docks/wood piers around the island.

    Countdown Watch

Okay. If I don't need a timer, I'll do that for now. Thanks!! But I do think a separate Digital Watch mod that just displays military time would be popular as well. Maybe even a few types of watch face to choose from. Something that Spec Ops might use.

    Countdown Watch

Awesome. Thank you. And I have 1 question, since you're on this topic. Separate from a count-down timer function, is it possible for you to create a "Digital Watch" mod that changes the default analog watch to a digital 24 hour watch? I know a lot of people would like to have a digital watch with a 24 hour military time format. So I'm not sure why BIS hasn't offered a digital watch option. But I know many people would love to see a mod that does it. TIA. -V
  5. This looks great. But I'm not a script person. I'm a mods person. Is there any chance you could chat with they guy who makes TPW mods, and see if this could get added? (with appropriate credit to you for this item, of course) Here's to hoping! :-) -V

    Ghost Missions

I can't speak for others, but I'd love to play small squad co-op missions geared toward 2 to 4 players. Small Spec Ops missions designed for only a few people, so you can have fun with a 1 to 3 close friends as opposed to 20+ people you might not know too well.

    Ghost Missions

This looks awesome . . . but does anyone know if there's a smaller scale version of this mission? Like, 2 to 4 player co-op with a mission like this? TIA! -V
  8. FYI, it was version 3.3 Of Kimi's HMDs that caused this problem/bug. I updated to the current version (v3.6) and tested it, and the problem went away! Problem solved. Happy again! :D :P  ;) -V

  10. I can't load save points anymore, in ANY mission. If i disable CBA the save games work just fine. But if I enable @CBA, the saved game system fails to load save points properly. Yet, almost all mods need CBA for them to function. So disabling CBA really causes problems for mods. I've tried regular ARMA & Dev Branch ARMA. I've updated CBA to the newest version (Version: 3.0.0.160713). But enabling CBA always kills my ability to load mission save points. The only error message I see when the saved games fail to load properly is this: '[_agent] call |#|BIS_fnc_animalBehaviour;' Error Undefined variable in expression: bis_fnc_animalbehaviour Any advice on how I can fix this problem? -V

    Helmet Mounted Displays MOD

OK. Good news. I just installed & enabled version 3.6 and the problem no longer happens. Thanks! Good to have your fantastic HUD back. Take care. -V

    Helmet Mounted Displays MOD

That's GREAT news. I just saw that I was using an old version (version 3.3). I didn't think your mod had anything to do with animal behavior. But for some reason, when I enable version 3.3 I get that error message along with it stopping my ability to load previous save points. I'll try the newest version of your mod soon and report back if I still have the same problem. At first I thought it was a problem with CBA. But if I try the CBA mod with no other mods, I can load save games and I don't get that error. Then I added 17 different mods 1-by-1 until I got the error message again. And it was "Kimi's HMD" mod (version 3.3) that seemed to cause it, because I disabled your mod and the error disappeared. Then I enabled your mod and it re-appeared. But it might be CBA together with your mod? Or it might have been the old version (3.3). I don't know. In any case, I was just offering the info I learned about, in case it could help you trouble-shoot any problems. I'll download your newest version and report back. -V

Version 3.3: - Fixed hellfire missing textures.

    Helmet Mounted Displays MOD

FYI, I had a weird error message along with bug that stopped my ability to load SAVE GAME slots. And after disabling all my mods and adding them back 1-by-1 for testing to discover which mod was causing the problem, I think I finally narrowed the bug down to your @Helo_HMDs_Kimi mod. So I wanted to inform you of the problem I'm having. Here's the error message that I see on the screen when I try to re-load a save game slot (and it fails): '[_agent] call |#|BIS_fnc_animalBehaviour;' Error Undefined variable in expression: bis_fnc_animalbehaviour I hope this helps you trouble-shoot. I know NOTHING about programming. I just use and appreciate mods that others make. And I tested 17 mods before I discovered that this error message (and subsequent failure to re-load save game slots) appears to come from this mod. If it is a problem with your mod, I wish you good luck in fixing it. I'm not complaining. I'm just trying to offer info/help. Have a great day. -V
  15. OK guys. I finally found the problem. Thanks for all your help. First up, yes, I have the newest CBA installed (from a few days ago). Turns out that CBA wasn't the problem. Earlier I was disabling several mods at a time. And the only thing that seemed to fix the problem was disabling CBA. But again, the problem WASN'T CBA. I finally disabled EVERY mod except for CBA, and then tested loading missions. With CBA alone, loading mission save files worked. Next, I added 1 mod at a time, and played the SHOWCASE -> INFANTRY mission after each mod was added. I re-started the SHOWCASE -> INFANTRY mission FRESH after each mod that I added, and I played the mission long enough to: (-A-) Get the first auto-save point, and (-B-) then die (on purpose) to see if I could re-load from that auto-save point. Of coarse, after testing 18 f#$%ing mods . . . (pardon my frustration) the error message HAD to come from the very LAST mod that I added & tested, and obviously it HAD to be one of the few mods that I considered LEAST likely to throw out an "animal behavior" error message. These are the mods I tested: 01) Action Button Mod 02) Mao Anims Sway Fix 03) Enhanced Movement 04) Automated Doors 05) KH Lowgrass 06) TPW mods 07) MCSS Simple Heli 08) LSD NVG 09) Advanced Rappelling 10) RYD_BT 11) Blood Lust 12) Alive 13) Tao Folding Map 14) BHC Map Contour 15) ASR AI3 16) Mag Repack 17) Moduload 18) Kimi's HMD Kimi's HMDs was the offending mod. It improves the Helicopter HUD icons. But apparently, it also now causes the following error message, along with a failure to load previous save game points: '[_agent] call |#|BIS_fnc_animalBehaviour;' Error Undefined variable in expression: bis_fnc_animalbehaviour So sorry guys. I thought it was CBA, but it clearly wasn't. MY BAD! Thanks for all your help trouble-shooting, and especially the advice from a guy in the CBA forum - to disable everything but CBA and go forward from there with testing. I should have done that from the start. But with so many mods to test, I was disabling several mods at a time instead of one-by-one. And I missed the offending mod until now. -V

  17. Easiest/fastest test for me is the SHOWCASE -> Infantry mission. Once I hit the first automatic save point, I run headlong into a hail of bullets and die on purpose to see if I can re-load. I also test it with the somewhat famous "Pilgrimage" mission and/or by starting a default campaign.
  18. Another good suggestion. But sadly I've tried that too. Nope. The cache integrity was fine, and I still had the problem after checking the cache and re-starting a new campaign/scenario. And I agree . . . I have not seen others complain about this issue. Which is why it really annoys me. I just can't load save game points with CBA enabled. But without CBA, several of my favorite mods don't work. Odd.
  19. I tried that. Still same problem. Save games don't work unless I disable CBA. Thanks for the tip though!! -V
  20. Well, if I disable CBA the problem goes away. But technically I'm still not sure if it's a problem with (-A-) the base game, or (-B-) CBA, or (-C-) a mod that uses CBA, so I figured I'd ask in the "developer" version forum because these guys are on the leading edge of ARMA3 and it's problems. I posted the same question on the CBA forums this morning. So hopefully someone in the CBA team will take note of it and see if it's something they need to fix. As far as I know, I only have 1 mod that manipulates animals. (TPW mods). And when I disable that mod, I still get the same error message. So it's probably something with CBA, but I have no clue.

Low CPU utilization & Low FPS

I play the single player mission "Pilgrimage" a lot. And every time that AI start fighting each other near my position, within about 1 or 2 minutes of enemy AI engaging each other, I always see a massive frame rate drop (from about 30 or 40 FPS, all the way down to 3 FPS) . Yesterday I was playing Pilgrimage, and I used a mod to call in a friendly AI helicopter. I had the friendly AI helicopter in a "hold" position out over the ocean, about 1 kilometer away from the city of Kavala. I played for a long time, running around Kavala . . . engaging enemy AI troops all over. Everything was fine until I called the AI helicopter in to fight some enemies near me. Then my frame rates dropped like a rock.. In a minute or two, my system froze and crashed. I'll attach a link to the crash dump files, but I know that BIS always wants you to run their game "clean", and I use a TON of mods, so they might consider these crash dump logs to be useless with all the mods I run. I don't know. Either way, here's the files. -V
  23. I'm not on DevBranch right now, and I have the same problem. ARMA 3 won't start. It immediately crashes with that error message: "Config: some input after EndOfFile". I had to delete the @TPW_MODS folder just to get ARMA 3 to start again.

    Release Candidate Branch Discussion

Did anyone else lose the transparency on scopes in the developer version update that came out today (4-20-2016, San Diego, California time). My RCO and a few other scopes have no transparency. It's like trying to look through a brick wall. -V

    BloodLust (Version 2022.04.13)

I agree. A little sick, but definitely a much needed option for greater realism. This mod is a keeper! I have one request, if possible. More variety in the amount of blood? In other words, a few bodies should have only a little blood, while the majority of the bodies have more? Is it difficult to vary the amount of bleeding for a slightly more random appearance?
