  1. That init seems to work, but still doesn't work with the spawner, and I don't understand why as the syncloop seems to target all "planes" on the carrier.

  3. Not yet personally, was just basing it on some other tfr compat issues I've had between the old and new tfr. I've just been watching the thread cause I'm planning on using the script soon.

I would suggest talking to deadman a bunch of function names ect were changed in 1.0+, I had to get help from him to fix radio settings being saved when using one of the old Backpackonchest mods made for the old version of tfr, @rebel12340 would be awesome if you could look at making a tfr 1.0+ compatible version, if its anything like the backpacks its a very small change, the "stable" release of tfr is over a year old now and 1.0 fixes a lot of errors and is more stable/has better performance IMO, and the bonus is it adds a lot of new features and fixes broken ones.

No its just for players, and that's what I thought, when we used the old version of the Nimitz we had no problem spawning aircraft on the deck with ASOR VS script and then using the catapults/arresting cables and hooks with no extra set up, but I just tried setting it up the same way and only the aircraft spawned on mission start/through Zeus have the options.

Hi TeTeT, new update is awesome only trouble im having is finding the names/way to call the functions for tailhook/arresting cable, and catapult support to aircraft, I use ASOR ingame vehicle spawner, I just need a couple of inits to initialize those functions when the player spawns the aircraft.

    @Nick Seafort Thanks that all works perfectly, only issue I'm having now is I cant access the Logistics menu from inside Vanilla or other mod vehicles eg RHS, you can use the infantry system to load it onto the ground and then move it to the ace cargo as a player but that doesn't allow loading the of a crates contents into the vanilla vehicle inventory space like you can with baf vehicles?

Edit: Thanks for clarifying that nick One other question, the logistics system, I saw the option to add custom options to the logistics menu was added, is this done via the optional pbo? and is it fully configurable for a unit that doesn't use baf weapons ie replacing all the current supply options/crates with custom ones?

    Thanks for the update guys, so good to have the Apache back in the air. In regards to this though. I Don't see this new UI and neither the Wildcat or the Apache appear to have pylon settings in the editor or GOM's pylon menu?

  14. Yes, i do manage it myself it's a web hosting server. Like I said earlier people sometimes start on the 10 connections and then it just starts dropping off down to 1 and the speeds go with it, that or it just starts at 1 connection and doesn't change. Is there a config or screenshots of settings I can show you to help work out what the problem is as the program has become almost unusable at these speeds and it never used to be like this for us.

Hey, over the last few updates all my members have been struggling to maintain more than 1 active connection (sometimes it starts at 10 then starts dropping off but mostly it starts/stays at one) and speeds averaging less than 300kb/s (we used to all get 3mb/s or more), it's not the server itself cause I've tested with multiple file transfer programs and the speeds are fine across the board, even downloading files from the arma3sync repo through a web browser the speeds are fine. Anyone else having these issues or know what I can do about it?

Allgood man, having some pretty hectic localization issues on some of the objects not sure if you're aware of, 4 of us placed a bunch of objects in an area and then all took a screenshot from the same location, objects that you place generally look fine (though sometimes they sit above or below ground) but objects other people place are sitting above or below the ground as can be seen in these images, another thing to note is the sandbags that were placed via the editor inside the hanger are floating for some players but not others. It's like a game of spot the difference ;) PS after some further testing we realized the curved bag fence (and i assume everything else) spawns in your hands and placed with the curve wrapping around the player placing it but to others it's facing the other way From the perspective of the person who placed it From a second person perspective

Thanks @KokaKolaA3 & @shukari, such a great mod I can't wait to have some mid-mission impromptu defense ops, and the extras like chairs and tables, my platoon leaders are already a planning mid op tea party ;), one question I have is if it's possible to allow stacking of sandbag walls they seem to clip to the ground unlike the pallets that you can leave floating mid-air?
  18. Ahh that sucks I really want to use this in my unit but I can't force everyone to get a second monitor/laptop (how people live without two monitors is beyond me), would be ok if only command and control needed it for input and the infantry could use their in-game map to see it all.
  19. That's fair enough firewill. The thing I really like about this whole system is the laser PRF code, it allows any laser designator operator on the ground or in a jet etc, to give their laser a unique id (through a keybind) then the person firing the missiles just uses the same keybind to cycle to the code of the target laser (this works with LOAL) and fires or you can have multiple lasers up at once and know with confidence that you will hit the correct one, or you can fire a salvo on multiple laser targets at once by just cycling codes and shooting LOAL-HI from behind a hill. Not sure if you might be up for making a patch devastator? one of those cases where I would if I knew how, though I think a bunch of people/groups would appreciate someone doing it.
  20. No stress dude, a question I have about the sandbags is if it would be possible to have it work similar to the ace trenches. To place a sand bag wall, you would need Ace entrenching tool X number of empty ace sandbags (if standing on dirt) or X number of full ace sandbags (if not on dirt) Then the sandbag wall would rise out of the ground (like the ace trenches) From what i can tell all the functions required for this exist in ace already, just not sure how to tie it together myself.
  21. So just to be sure, if I want to try Athena I use the link in the main topic post correct? I can't tell if I'm doing something wrong or if this isn't a feature, do the Athena map drawings appear on the in-game map as well?

    On the topic of improving loiter is their anyway to use the vanilla interface for aerial drone control to set loiter with finer control?, and by extension also allow pilots to set waypoints for autopilot and all the other options available in drone control, dunno if its possible to turn the plane into a drone when you engage autopilot or something
  23. Still not working unfortunately, ran with just CBA, ACE and ACE placeables, placed Nato soldier and box of all placeables, took one of everything, no new actions appear in self-interaction to place objects. No script error either sorry man.

Hey @firewill Would it be possible to create a optional patch that makes your laser guided munitions compatible with ACE3's laser designator PRF code system, they just released a new AGM that uses LOBL and LOAL with multiple attack profiles, would be great if we could use your LOAL bombs with this to hit multiple targets in one run using the PRF code system.
