Kidal isn't indexed for ALiVE i used this faction last night on Kunduz with ALiVE and had no issues. -

Thanks for the suggestions. In regards to the language, since BIS doesn't give us Arabic, I use Farsi as the closest alternative. I tried to give a wide spread on weaponry for the Insurgents...AK47s, AKMs, RPKs, FALs, M16s, and older rifles to represent a hodge podge of weaponry. Thanks for the information. -

We're using the African Regime faction in our campaign on our dedicated server right now and have no issues with uniforms. -

If you don't see uniforms, that means you do not have RHS: GREF enabled or it is outdated. I'll doublecheck the ammo tonight and update if needed. Thanks. -
FYI, What's the consensus on default AI Skill level presets for using this? I currently have my server set at skill AI of 0.69 and precision AI at 0.25. Thoughts?

I'm VERY excited to hear about Rowalla. Outside of Isla Duala (one of my favorite maps of all time), there is a gaping hole when it comes to African maps. I love the Savannah look of Duala. What is the size of Rowalla Icebreakr? 20 x 20? -

So.... to summarize.... -Delete the jungle -Delete the cities -Delete the canal Yup, I'd say your FPS would go up after that. :P I did a test of the map 2 nights ago and my FPS was around 27-30 in cities populated with enemy, and around 40-45 outside of it. That's solid FPS IMO for OPs. Personally, I'd say lighten up the palm trees and you should be good. Or don't. But I would not recommend massive wholesale changes to this great map. Kudos again. -

I have a serious "ORBATRON" addiction. Some screens of some of the factions I've created using it.... An "African Regime" faction....less "rebel like" and more well equipped. Standard Uniforms, Russian vehicles, etc. Similar to the style seen in the movie "Tears of the Sun". Great for a militarized Opfor African faction to fight. Mods needed: RHS GREF, RHS AFRF I'm a big fan of Hawaiian's 75th Rangers but as he's gone MIA on his mod, I took it as the base and added the Military Gear Pack, SMA and RHS weapons, and voila! A revamped 75th Rangers Faction. Mods needed: Hawaiian's 75th Rangers, RHS USAF, SMA (Specialist Military Arms), Military Gear Pack -

Great to hear Icebreaker. As one of the very few (ok..the only one) good "non Jungle" African maps....I'm psyched to hear about the update. I'm also an ALiVE user so getting this beauty reindexed is great news. I'm itching for a good African campaign. -

I looked in the readme and didn't see this so I'll ask... If I want multiple convoys...what is the naming convention I need for each? c1,c2,c3 d1,d2,d3? -
Given the nature of how this mod tweaks ASR, I'm almost of the opinion that regular ASR AI is better for conventional missions with more aggressive, less "cowardly" enemies. But Pooter's ASR AI is better for insurgency style campaigns...with enemies that are more "sneaky" and who stay hidden rather than actively engage in the open. Just my .02. Love both.

Awesome! I love Norrins Convoy script. Easily one of the coolest missions/tasks for ARMA with ambushing a convoy. Glad to see you are adding to it! -

It's plug and play. I loaded up Thor's Hammer, which I built over a year ago, and it works instantly. JBAD buildings and new enterable buildings replace the old buidlings instantly and the ALiVE units enter these buildings and take up positions. I haven't tested to see if Assymetric units will build installations in these buildings though. That's my next test. -

This is outstanding. I was testing it with ALiVE, and the ALiVE units that spawn in do indeed go inside these buildings and take up positions. This is a big big deal in regards to breathing new life in A2 maps. If this can be expanded to Sahrani, Takistan.....oh my! -

Great stuff. 3 things I thought I'd mention. 1. The only helicopters I have the option of folding in the edit vehicle appearance are the AH-1Zs and the Super Stallion. I don't have the option to pack the Ospreys and Hueys. 2. Whenever I put a Super Stallion on the deck of the LHD...everything is normal. UNTIL...I get in it. As soon as I get in it..it immediately blows up. I've tried raising it above the deck a few feet higher, packing it, etc. Still blows up as soon as I get in the pilot's seat. 3. There are 2 floating lamps/lights about 3 feet above the surface of the deck on the LHD. -

Is there an option to now "pack" aircraft manually when placing the units on an empty LHD? If so..where is that located? -
This is incorrect. Our current campaign on our server is using Project Opfor Takistani Army as our Opfor. They most definitely do use RPGs, and throw grenades as I've been blown up many times by both. We are using the base ASR AI configs as well..no optional RHS pbos are active.
