    Asian Factions for CUP

UPDATE: A 3rd faction has been added. A fully fleshed out conventional Asian Army set to IND side. This army contains Tanks, Trucks, APCs, Turrets, Helicopters, Turrets, as well as Special Forces and Infantry units. Screens below:
  2. Hey guys, I just released my Asian Factions for CUP pack in case anyone is interested in doing some Pacific/Asian scenarios using only CUP as a dependency. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=880349710 I will continue to expand on this pack as well.

    [WIP] Terrain Diyala province Iraq

This is a very small issue. On maps that don't give you the mousewheel option to open a door...using CTRL + spacebar will do the trick no problem.

    64-bit Executables Feedback

I'll follow up on what Road Runner mentioned earlier... In my opinion...running a program like Process Lasso, or other resource managing software is a major key to keeping your FPS high. I have an i5-4670k processor with a GTX970 Video card and I average over 40 FPS on our server, which we run long term ALiVE campaigns on with 100s of virtualized profiles, units, etc. on the map. Rarely do I ever go below 30 FPS in a session. ARMA is by no means "unplayable" in my experience at 32 bit and as others have said, ARMA appears to be much more "CPU intensive" than "GPU intensive". Managing and reducing the applications/processes running int he background had me gain about 15 FPS when I started using it. I'd definitely recommend it regardless of if you are using the 32 bit or 64 bit executables.

    RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)

Regarding Russian Spetsnaz/Spec Ops, are they, as a whole, moving more towards the western style gear? I've noticed several articles, pics online of Spetsnaz units in Crye gear and ops core helmets. I ask because I'm not nearly as knowledgeable on Russian military as US.

    Iraqi-Syrian Conflict

Looks great man. Great job. One small bug I noticed...the Pershmerga mortar doesn't have a crew attached. It comes in empty in the editor. Just fyi.

    African Factions for CUP

@thesnyper Sure thing bud. I'll try to get a complete list of classnames this week for everyone. UPDATE 2/28/2017: I squashed a bug that was sometimes causing the Independent T-72 Tanks to fire on friendly units. All good to go now. I'm working on a showcase mission as well using my African pack that I'll post on steam when I'm done in case anyone is itching to try an African CUP scenario.

CBA - Community Base Addons - ARMA 3

So ALiVE is broken due to CBA and CBA isn't getting a hotfix for at least a week? Time to rollback to earlier CBA for now I guess.
  12. Squad name:- OS Tactical Timezone/location : US Eastern Time Zone (But we have members in all 4 timezones in the US) Gamemode preference (eg coop or pvp): COOP Contact email: audrew77@yahoo.com Website address: http://ostactical.boardhost.com/ Short description: Casual Milsim group focusing on present day military COOP campaigns Language: English
  13. Howdy folks, We are OS Tactical. We are a casual milsim group that focuses on long term persistent campaigns on our dedicated server using the ALiVE mission framework. Our group is not very big...we have roughly 30 members total and average about 10 per gaming session. But we've got a great group of guys and are very active. There are no required trainings, no minimum gaming time per week...we just encourage folks to play when they can, have fun, and act like a mature adult while playing with us. The majority of our members are located within the United States from coast to coast (Pacific time to Eastern Time) as well as members in Canada and the UK. Our biggest gaming nights for Operations are typically Friday, Sat, and Sun...but we have our server running 24/7 and typically have several team members on every night of the week. We focus on present day military so the majority of our missions utilize either RHS, CUP, or 3CB unit mods (or all of them!). If you are interested in learning more about us you visit our Steam Group page here: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/OSTactical# Our Main message board here: http://ostactical.boardhost.com/index.php Also, if you'd like to see the style of missions and mods we use, check out my Steam Workshop page as I publish many clan operated missions/campaigns to the workshop for the public to enjoy! Tier 1 Gear Pack

Adacas..this has become a must have mod for our clan. Excellent work all the way around sir. I've enjoyed adding it to my missions for our group.
  15. That's actually how it works. The clients don't need the sounds, they're put directly into mission folder

  19. Steam Workshop Link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=862894608 *Mod list and PBO download link are both available in the Steam Description of the Mission* Although the bulk of US and Allied forces have left the region, US Special Forces remain in Afghanistan to help train, advise & assist local Afghan forces , as well as provide counter-terrorism support against local insurgent forces. You and your fellow players are US Special Forces tasked with this duty in this ALiVE campaign. If you are unfamiliar with my missions....then you have been missing out!! No seriously...if you are not familiar with my missions, my focus is on long term, persistent campaigns using the ALiVE mod framework. For more information on how ALiVE works and how to play visit www.alivemod.com. Features include: -VCOM AI built into the mission itself (NO NEED TO USE AN AI MOD WHEN USING THIS MISSION) -Persistence enabled -Headless Client support enabled -An Insurgency style campaign with IEDs, suicide bombers, advanced civilian interaction, and Insurgent weapon caches and installations -Ambient traffic, animal herds -Custom images and sounds including authentic afghan billboards, posters, etc. and authentic middle eastern sounds and radio broadcasts from my Ambient sounds packs. -Multiple respawn points, including a moveable spawn point -Virtual Arsenal, Helo Spawner, Troop spawner -Full Logistics support, including reinforcements, supplies, etc. -Automated Close Air Support and Helo Transport -Other cool stuff We've been running this on our server for the last few weeks and having a blast. Hope you do as well.

[ALiVE, COOP, MP, SP] Royal Marines Kunduz

Major update today: -Added a second FOB/Respawn point (Afghan Military Base) -Added playable British Patrol Troop/Recce unit -Tweaked Insurgency speed -Tweaked overall mission performance -Tweaked logistics Man! Updating missions when you have close to 20 on Workshop is no easy task! lol Hope you guys enjoy the update.
  21. ROYAL MARINES KUNDUZ http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=539871206 In a joint operation with the local Afghan Military, Her Majesty's Royal Marines are tasked with destroying the Taliban strongholds in the Kunduz region. Be on the lookout for ambushes, IEDs, suicide bombers, and dynamic hit and run attacks by the Taliban forces. This is designed to be a COOP MP mission but it can be enjoyed on SP as well. As with all of my missions, I use the full ALiVE suite of features, so there are no single player saves. I do provide the mission folder for download for groups who wish to host the mission on a dedicated server. I HIGHLY recommend getting an ALiVE War Room account as this mission is set up for persistent play over multiple sessions using the War Room. (For more information go to alivemod.com] I hope you enjoy it. . I appreciate all feedback. MODs needed and direct link to PBO for dedicated servers can be found on the Steam Page listed above. I hope you enjoy!

[ALiVE, ACE3, COOP, SP] BRITISH STEEL

I dropped CAF Aggressors due to the fact that its way outdated and no longer supported. I dropped Burnes Foxhound for the sheer "convenience factor" of having less mods that users have to subscribe to manually...and also because with me adding CUP, I also, by default, add a ton of British Assets like Land Rovers, Mastiffs, Wolfhounds, Ridgebacks, etc. that can offset dropping the Foxhound. The rest of it? Because I am never satisfied and I'm constantly striving to squeeze the most enjoyment/performance out of my missions. (Plus I have added quite a few great posters, billboards, and unique sounds that I wanted to add in).
