Sniping weapons with CQB......... *epicfacepalm* I DO know how much work it is realigning the geometry of the guns and I dont want to little your work in any way but "sense". For me this is still MilSim...and when im around as Sniper im clicking the enemies off as sniper...meaning : I shall not get to CQB.... IF this situation ever happens : handgun ? (which i do not take with me) or....align gun right after experience and give the dude some without aiming. For those that find this too hard..... Have fun with this ! damn well ! made Addon. Wolfstriked 11 Posted July 14, 2010 Haha "shit in your pond"..that had me rolling!! :D Up close you get a feel where weapon will hit and soldiers actually do fire without sights.This mod just helps people playing with no crosshair to have a chance. What this mod might be able to do is to move the shouldered view of weapon in and up like it is in PR:BF2 mod.This was attempted in past but moving the camera then had side effect of plane crosshairs being offcenter.But if just the weapon is moved this might not happen.This way I guess people wont feel like they are cheating. metalcraze 290 Posted July 16, 2010 I'm not sure I've seen a vanilla A2 weapon modelled with a flashlight. M4 with GL has a flashlight - it's the weapon Cooper uses in the campaign. Just quickly fire it up and see. Nice to see AA2 weapons getting some OA love. Client-side only. Does it mean that nobody else will see lasers on modded AA2 weapons? Or am I wrong here? Synide 0 Posted July 19, 2010 Hmmm, that's strange as the m16a4 is not part of the OA content. So, the only way you can get it in OA is to include the A2 weapons.pbo. Works fine on my machine. So, therefore it's something you've done in your reskinning of the m16a4. If you want to flick me the version you've modified I could possibly work out what's wrong with it. S'up to you though. Also would love to see all of the PSO weapons with 3 sights. Ironsights, Scope and Over the scope. As well as CQB view for the AK, SVD, FAL, SCAR with night scopes. Also would love to see PKP and DMR with over the scope view, as well as any other weapons in combined arms. Good luck making flashlights and targeting lasers work! Also maybe remove the ability of ArmA 2 weapons to work with NVG's at night (Ones that do not support night OPS). Thanks! Thanks! Made my gaming experience a whole lot better!
