Tonci87 163 Posted July 8, 2010 I still only need to hear the first few seconds of the good old OFP Soundtracks and I instantly know which song it is, and more important, WHEN it was played during the campaign^^

Villain. 11 Posted July 9, 2010 When you go to the hospital you keep shouting "i'm injured" "get me a corpsman" and rolling around on the floor until they tend to you. When a car backfires you drop to the ground instantly and start checking rooftops. When you get taken to see a friend's new house you focus more on where the best ambush positions would be. When you see a farmer you keep watching him to make sure he's not armed. When you try to make small talk with strangers you ask if they've seen any targets around. When other people say the sun is too bright, you say there's just too much bloom. When you get into a vehicle you start looking at the available gear. When you take a trip by plane you insist on being given a parachute so you can jump out when you near the LZ. When giving directions to people you always give grid co-ordinates, and they give you funny looks. When you squint at an object for too long your breathing gets heavier. When you're putting your phone/wallet/keys in your pockets you make sure to add up the weight so you don't over-load yourself. When someone crouches down you worry that they're planting a satchel charge and sprint in the opposite direction. When you ask someone for a cigarette lighter you say "requesting fire mission, over." When you talk on the phone you provide your own static. When you get a new mobile phone you ask the guy at the store "does it have a wind meter?" When you see a cat you have absolutely no idea what it is. When you avoid the City centre to keep fps as high as possible. This made me chuckle, nice one mate. :D

Big Dawg KS 6 Posted July 9, 2010 - I spell 'damage' with two Ms, 'behavior' with a U, and find it very difficult to write out the word 'position' in full - I edit missions in my sleep - Sometimes I notice myself admiring the framerate of the real-world
pj[cz] 2 Posted July 9, 2010 - when you refer to a forest as a "tree at 12 o clock" - when you got a flat tire on our car you shout franticly "need repairs" into your cellphone - when buying soda you choose the package based on its volume per inventory slot - when giving something away you insist on putting it on the ground where the can collect it - when there is a wall you still try to step over it in case it has bugged geometry
alext223 0 Posted July 9, 2010 (edited) My favourite, when you get in the shit: "FUCK! 1 is down! This is 2, taking command." Walking down a narrow street and thinking "The AI would never get through here on aware." Looking at a bridge and thinking "Bloody AI". Then looking at the water "Bloody AI". Seeing a Blackhawk flying along and wondering why it ain't going as fast as it could. And marvling at how steady the flight is! Walking down the street and wondering when you can afford the PC to allow that many civies in your mission AO without your fps goIng less than 25.
