Undesired_Hero 10 Posted May 20, 2010 Hi, I've got problems a little here. graphics are jumpy even at 60 FPS Here's a video I made to demonstrate what I mean. Icore7 920 6Gb 1600Mhz memory Using 5870 catalyst 10.4 anyone know which drivers are best for ARMA2?
qwertz 10 Posted May 20, 2010 1) Switch HT off 2) In your ArmA2.cfg, set: GPU_MaxFramesAhead=0; GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=0; Should solve the issue.
roberthammer 582 Posted May 20, 2010 or Try new beta http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php and in your shortcut add this command -exThreads=
=wfl= sgt bilko 10 Posted May 20, 2010 Isn't that fixable by playing around with smoothing under "options/control"?
kridian 33 Posted May 20, 2010 Yeah, that definitely looks like the mouse "Smoothing" feature slider in Controls.

If you would be the OP, who has (unlike you) an ATI card, and whose question my answer was relevant to, it would solve the issue of "stutteryness". If that's what he means, anyway. qwertz
-=seany=- 5 Posted May 22, 2010 This is exactly the kind of "micro stutter" I get when there is a lot AI on the map. Curious to know if the OP is playing alone in the editor on that vid, or are there AI present also? I'm very interested to see what solves this issue for them. This is with MultiGPU aka, CF and SLI. Also "jumpiness/stutter" can be from a utility on like Everest or even your CCC(ati control Panel) being open! Heck fraps can give you a stutter too.
