Cd key

Recommended Posts

Ok, my stupid bro (and I mean stupid) got angry (like usual) and uninstalled ofp (for the second time). But he also threw away the damn manual (which has the cd key) and I need it! Can any one tell me where to ask for the cd key? I have the box, and the cd, just no cd key! Thanks.

isn't this more suited for trouble-shooting? Anyway BI studio is more likely to help you than codemasters, probably... Besides getting help your only other real option is buying the game... Again. Of course you wouldn't pick that.

Would ya quit with the constant "this belongs to that forum... this belongs to this forum" ?

When a person has a problem they need urgent answer to they'll post it in the forum that gets the most visitors.

Well.  Yes,  Ask BIS,  But they will Probaly think you warezed it.  So You will prolly have to buy a new game.

all you should have to do is prove you have the retail cd (take a picture or tell them what's on such and such a place etc) you shouldn't have to buy a new one but they could charge you a convienence fee but i think that's only for cds

This is the most responses I've ever seen to a CD Key request....usually they are shut down almost straight away for fear that they are warez related. tounge.gif

Can you be banned for talking about warez if you are not advocating it or telling people how to do it Ralph? confused.gif

Dude, I'm pretty sure Codemasters would provide you with a new key for free, if you can give them enough details to convince them that you own a legit copy.

If somebody says "I threw away my manual" it doesn't sound for real, it sounds suspicious. I really can't imagine how you can just throw it away? Especially when you know the cdkey is in it. Either you're stupid (no offense) or you're lying.

in defense of the manual losers it took me a few days to find mine when i wanted to reinstall. cd cases are a lot easier to find (should just rip the page out and put it in the cd case)

In barrets defense, he said it was his brother that threw it away.

But I agree, writing on the CD in permanent marker (not on the read surface!wink.gif or on the case is probably a good idea.

And damage a perfectly mint cd? OFP cds will be worth something someday, maybe in like 10-15 years, it's going to be worth $$$, and writing a CD key on it would only lessen the value. Hmmmm, maybe if I get it autographed by all the guys at BIS, then it would be worth even more $$$.

if i remember rightly, the cd has a unique number stamped on the inner circle which when quoted to Bis or Codemasters, will prove its authenticity and therefore they will provide u with a new cd key.
