colonel29 0 Posted August 22, 2010 i hope this island will not so hilly how other maps :) not much but with some rather flat valley, the highest peak of the real Britain is 384 meters :p the same in French: non pas beaucoup plutôt plat mais avec quelques vallon , le plus haut sommet de la bretagne réel est à 384 metres :p

colonel29 0 Posted August 28, 2010 error in visitor not enought memory :( http://img814.imageshack.us/img814/4959/notm.jpg
bushlurker 46 Posted August 29, 2010 When does the memory problem happen Colonel29?? I've found that Visitor doesn't "tidy up" very well in memory... sometimes I've found it lurking in "processes" sneakily running twice too... I've found that quite often if I save at the point I'm at - close Visitor completely - restart it, and THEN do whatever it was that caused the error before, it sometimes works! As if restarting and flushing current memory usage somehow allows it to use more... Gotta be worth a try... B

colonel29 0 Posted August 29, 2010 the map is finished, due to bugs in visitor, it becomes impossible to continue, maybe there are too many objects or the map is too Big , I had to delet all the objects in the east of the map or I would never have ended. after binarization I tested the map in the game it works I asked Martin to test it and then I post a link to download on the forum ;) I learned by completing this project : is that for a good map it should not be too large for everything to work well and be able to locate the objects you want :o screen shot from BZH :p http://img840.imageshack.us/img840/5111/in1l.jpg http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/8291/in2x.jpg

colonel29 0 Posted September 13, 2010 (edited) work still has to learn to make addons properly, testing a new island to enrich my experience: the island of Yak really lack of documentation in French to learn advanced and easily http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/7490/yak2s.jpg http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/2454/yak1.jpg :o the time it takes to make a "small" island is crazy! But it's fun when there are no crash objects on Yak http://img836.imageshack.us/img836/9744/yakqk.jpg Edited September 18, 2010 by colonel29
colonel29 0 Posted September 25, 2010 I continued working on it I really do not know how long it will take to exit the map, but it's not for tomorrow, then test creation in the game and then correcting mistakes still a big job
