Vehicles

This might of been asked thousands of times but here we go again.

What vehicle do you think would be good to have in operation flashpoint and that would balance the game out?

Top of my list would be British vehicles but as a world wide appeal resistance vehicles would be great.

Stuff like improvised weapons, machine guns on trucks, old t34s with armour improved by adding tyres, wood etc.

Land rover

biggrin.gif  I'd like something that isn't a reskinned Su-25 however, I.E. I want it from BIS...or at least from someone lucky enough to get Oxygen, and the Harrier isn't really what I want anyway, I want the Yak-38

This is a common missconception about military aircraft. For the same reason the MiG-29 and Su-27 were declared by "experts" to be copies of western aircraft during the cold war. Why? because they looked similar to the F-14, F-15 and F-18...and now that the secrecy about them have been lifted it has become obvious that they are very different aircraft with many of their own unique innovations (IRST tracking, ability to perform maneuvers like the Cobra, ect).

The fact is, similar problems will often result in similar solutions. What would be really surprizing is if two aircaft from the same era which are designed to perform similar functions looked nothing alike.

I think I'll be more 'realistic' here, I would like to see some more internationally prolific armour and vehicles. This is a NATO vs. Russia thing afterall. So something other than U.S. vehicles would be nice.

A Leopard series tank would be nice, it has been used by Germany, Australia, Canada, and many more countries in Europe:

A Challenger 1 would satisfy the Brits who play OFP:

I would also like to see the 'Cougar' 6 wheeled APC w/a 76mm main gun and troop carrying ability. It was recently phased out of reserve service in the Canadian Army and had been used since '76.

As for aircraft....how bout' a KA-50 to keep the Russian chopper enthusiasts happy and to give the Russian side a 'true' attack chopper.

and I was also thinking maybe a little bird.. fast maneuverable, and lots of firepower... downside.. barely any armor...

I'd like a proper SAM system (perhaps the HMMWV Avenger, Bradley Linebacker, or Rapier), which I think would work pretty well on the new Resistance island, seeing as it's quite a bit larger.

Some more APC's & trucks would be nice...ooh and a Land Rover...and a 105mm howitzer...more i say! more!
