Baff1 0 Posted July 15, 2009 There. I've said it. You know you do too. That sort of bump them out the way thing they do, not so fun. Is it feasible to make new destruction models for all the light vehicles? I suppose not, but it would rock if you did.
MortenL 10 Posted July 15, 2009 tried to drive over a car in Arma2, ended with me being like 85 degrees in the air humping the car.... Looked pretty funny... atleast the tank can push the car a little.
maddogx 13 Posted July 15, 2009 Unfortunately the physics engine in Arma2 is in no way robust enough to allow for this kind of thing. I'd place this suggestion into the "Would be awesome, but never gonna happen" category. ;)

InFireBaptize 0 Posted July 15, 2009 not only that, if you hit a wall, the block wall will fall in one peace then disappears into the ground? i don't think it's hard to implement since BF2 did it. Yesterday one of my squad members was able to walk through a tank and stands in the middle of the tank.
NoRailgunner 0 Posted July 15, 2009 Not only crashing cars - i would like to see that tracked vehicles could destroy those bale of straw and those little stonewalls too. But please, without special effects.
diveplane 0 Posted July 17, 2009 how about being able to plow through buildings first.
joey 10 Posted July 17, 2009 codemasters made the coolestvehicle damage physics ive seen and thats in a game called 1nsane. hopefully the do something cool like that in ofp2 except more detailed of course :}
Pyronick 21 Posted July 17, 2009 Have a little patience, when fiber optics connections and compute shader-compatible hardware is a common thing this will eventually find it's way in ArmA 2. Hopefully these requirements will be fulfilled by 2012. No game has this implemented correctly yet, most of the time it's precomputed cinematic-style physics like in Half-Life 2 or Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway. Maybe in ArmA 3, if ArmA 3 follows the same development timeline as Operation Flashpoint and ArmA we'll have this by 2012.
