swtx 42 Posted July 13, 2009 This is my first release for the Arma Series. All the props go to Matt R and Mr-Murry for this unique and useful addon. I just converted it to Arma2. Editor Dude (formerly known as Mr. Editor Guy), is a useful tool for making editing movies in Arma2. You can "teleport", run the game in "Slowmotion" and even use Camera.sqs. All from the player action menu in-game. When you use camera.sqs just use the bulldozer controls W,A,S,D to move the camera. Use Q and Z to move the camera up and down. On your keypad, use 8 and 2 to pan up and down. And finally use 4 and 6 to pan left and right. You should just be able to put this in the units init box: this exec "Camera.sqs"; Then just fire up the Preview. I haven't tried this yet but that's how you do it normally. EDIT: DL this for help learning how to use the Camera.sqs. The page is in German but an English version is included in the DL. However, I am a little confused as I was already able to use the camera.sqs and setacctime before "editordude" so what does editor do exactly and what does it add that cant already be done in the arma 2 editor with init and triggers and stuff already? mattxr 9 Posted July 29, 2009 Its to help people who know squat about all that editing code to add into inits. You can Slow Mo from the action menu i think you can access the camera from the editing menu. I also belive the guy is invincible too so you can walked into enemy fire to test things etc all depends on how he set this addon up but if it was the same than the first then its all good. So basically I go into editor, then lets say I am starting from scratch I would then create a unit, then once I have the unit if I preview I can use camera or slow time with the action menu?
