I don't want to be another guy who just rants about the game but BI leaves me no choice, after trying EVERYTHING ..and I mean EVERYTHING ...to make this title work properly with the suggested requirements and not being able to play the game as games are supposed to be played ,when you DO meet the recommended requierements.

After uninstalling it and installing it several times, after trying all kinds of drivers and suggestions..I have come to one conclusion this game..as it is now with the 1.02 patch Does not perform well meeting the so called recommended specs.And a lot of other users will definetly agree with me.

I think that when you purchase a product that product should work porpely...

You should install the game and be able to play it with an even flow if you DO MEET the REcoMMENDED REQUIREMENTS...Not spend a week trying to reach what appears to be the glorius 30 fps just to be able to play the game and having to have the game look as if you were playing with a geforce 5200 fx from ages past.

Now I do hope patches will someday fix these issues..and by BI standards I think they will...but giving us,excuse me,selling us a game with so many bugs and HW,drivers, etc.. related problems is just unforgiving...

I will therefore uninstall the game untill a REAL working patch comes and if it never comes then it will sold to someone who can actually play it and beleive when i say the mistake will not be made again.

Please understand I just made this because of my frustration trying to make the game work and believe me I have truly utterly tried to do so.As i toatlly believe this game has tremendous potential and even with abismal Frames you can have a glimpse of what this game can become.

I do believe I will be able to..when this really needed patch arrives and I know I am not alone in this matter.

Those of you who did get the game to work properly I truly envy you a lot, and respect you but I also ask no to turn this into a flaming round as I deserve your respect too.

This is a message for the People in charge of making this game work...I know it's a lot of work...but it's what we all paid for...not more no less.I still have a little faith in you.And I ask you to try not to make the same mistakes in the future as with the pirating industry growing tremendously its not a good idea to push away future customers

Hope this happens soon and we can all see eachother in the MP!!!Playing the game as it was meant to be played.

its important to say that I run other brand new games with some high specs flawlessly

I'm able to run this game on high/normal/low except for disable post processing and i manage to get 25-30fps! not bad with few lags here and there. I think the lag is from the CPU and/or hard disk because every time it lags the light indicator flashes, i could be wrong. I think your problem would be solved if newer video card is installed. but you see thats my point.. in the rec specs my card is mentioned,so i feel i have been lied to and thats why I complain..if I had minium specs I would even dream of posting here

Ive managed to get a decent framefrate...but it is simply ludricous how much i have to turn it down even with my GTX 260 (tho my CPU kinda sucks) And the crashes just make it even worse.

Heck i suffer from poor performance too, do i come here crying about it thinking BiS has no clue of what it's userbase is suffering from? No, i don't - why? Patches will come!

Just have patience and as the previous poster was saying - crank your stuff all the way down to low. If it's still not playable then it's your machine that's fubar'd.

I agree with the OP.This game is a trainwreck to be honest.But unfortunetly posting here will just lead to criticism from Arma fanboys.

I'm sure patches will be released but as with all games released by BIS they're incredibly buggy.

Without these threads then folk may think there is no issue with the game, no issue with performance and all is well. Not only would be new players but BI themselves, as this can be the only feedback they get from the real world and not just praise and love from the fanboys out there who just love the game no matter what state.

The OP here shows the frustration that many feel and articulates it better than many so worthwhile.

ok my system is pretty old but I still meet 2 of the optimal requirements on the back of the box.

yes I have the game running (albeit with crap fps) but I'd expect it to at least look as nice as cod4, Not bloomin return to castle wolfenstein!

Got pretty much same as your comp, game is playable but its borderline (15-25fps). And for people saying turn settings down, it actually doesn't make much if any difference between setting it to high or low!

That said.. i tried some multiplayer other night and got 60fps at start, i read some post other day that said when more AI is present the game uses LESS of your cpu than it does when theres lots of AI :S looks true..weird.

Anyways i hope theres a nice patch coming soon, id like to play threw the single player without having to skip some missions. Also the choices i saw werent really choices.. kept looping back till i chose the one they wanted me to choose.

Also the last mission had a tendency to crash every time i tried to save game lol. I want to hate this game as it really drives me up the wall but i just.......like the game.

You should try some multiplayer and see if you get better fps like i did:P
