ICON squad & I present our first MP mission for ArmA2: co12 Hijack *final **hotfix for 2nd task** co12 Hijack final version from my repository Armaholic link *For 1.05 *With revive AI-disabled *Leader as mobile spawn Changes in 1.0b version: *Updated revive script *Tweaked one bunker height *Added randomness to some units *Units in truck should now react when 1st tank disabled *Reinforcements for enemy *Some locals will surrender (possibly) Changes in 1.1 version: *Updated revive script to 0.2f Changes in 1.2 version: *Updated revive script to 0.2m *1.03 compatible Changes in 1.3 version: *Updated revive script to 0.3c *1.04 compatible *Changed the conditions for 2nd task. It does not count the presence of fuel truck anymore because it was sometimes malfunctioning. Now it detects the presence of player in chopper and it's availability to move. Changes in final version: *Updated revive script to 0.42 *1.05 compatible *Removed civilian module *Tasks are now handled with taskmaster Added hotfix 17.03.2010 Scenario: Difficulty: medium Supports SP: MP only, Cadet/Veteran mode variation: None Playable side: US Island/towns:Utes Core game style:infantry Scale: medium Duration: about 60 mins Weather/Time: Semi cloudy /Dawn 04:50 US sapper team has been inserted by a fishing boat to ambush a convoy. The convoy includes 2 support urals which we need to refuel an Mi-24 which has been given to rebels by russian authorities to strike our mainland troops. Secure the trucks to refuel the hind and fly it to our aircraft carrier. (Exit the Hind at carrier to end mission.) - Task 1: Ambush convoy and secure support trucks - Task 2: Refuel the Mi-24 - Task 3: Fly the Mi-24 to aircraft carrier (This is based on one of my old flaspoint missions which I did not publish) I hope you enjoy it. Make sure the fuel truck does not get destroyed. Just a rumor though... :rolleyes: Well, I kinda like the new system where one can freely choose an objective and get a waypoint for it.. The objective order is a tad confusing for mission maker since they have to be listed as "final objective first". Hona 0 Posted July 2, 2009 (edited) Great mission but it seems to crash for me when someone dies, this happens when I've created the server (not dedicated) and as soon as someone dies it just crashes/locks up. Rest of the people playing it works for except the server also dies. Edit: Did try the mission by myself and now the respawning works but once another player joines and dies it crashes, strange. Very enjoyable mission though! Was one of you in the hind? I have played this mission on my server at least 12 times now every time with out an issue it has fueled. Stridergg 10 Posted July 10, 2009 We played this mission yesterday with my buddy and it's a great mission, a lot of fun. It was mostly bug free, except for one occasion, when my friend respawned at the PREVIOUS location of MHQ instead of the current, even though MHQ was up. No big deal though. Oh and we weren't able to re-arm the chopper with the truck, but re-fueled it just fine. Again, no big deal. Great mission, we will be playing it again tonight.
