Manhatten insurgent camps / main base.

I have only found a few camps in both of the red marked areas, and i must have been running about in them for at least an hour, and i cannot find the main base, nor can i find anymore bases to complete that objective, help please :D:D:D:D

seriously need help here too. Have spent an entire day repeating this mission and fed up now. I found the main base and killed the officer ect but still have the insurgent camps to get.

I found 2 insurgent camps in spoiler below. But can not for the life of my find the other 2. A marked map would really help if possible ^.^

1 by the radio tower in the small circle. 1 in the castle in top of big circle. In big circle I found 2 other spots which looked like they could be camps, one on the left in the middle and one a bit further down in the middle however neither activate a message when i get there or clear them on multiple playtroughs. I have also completely covered the entirity of this stupid red circle looking for camps I can not find. So are they all in the red area or outside?

Found the main base south of the dam to the north.

Most of them are in the red circled areas and on the peaks of hills, I think you're meantto use the UAV but that thing sucks ass... Best to take the APC out and just bash through the forest. Careful though because lots of them have RPG's.

Ho hum. Any chance you could post a picture of your map once you've cleared the camps?

Because I have been round that red circle 5000 times now and can't seem to get more than 1 per zone to activate. There are 2 other sets of tents i find with men around them i always find in the circle but no matter how many times i clear it on a restart it nevers triggers as a camp. Did you find any out of the circle?

What is that designation on the "o" of Area of Operation? Is that a camp?

Thanks for that, a real big help. I normally wouldn't ask but with the reported potential bugs in this mission and people saying they are all in the red area it got to the point where enough was enough ^.^ So thanks for confirming my suspicions that there are some actually outside the zone.

You'll have to do all the tasks before trying to find the evidence, though you probably won't find them anyway. Part of the scripts. Again i might be lying, but i defintely passed them all apart from the Evidence, i was given 5 mins to find it or else. Way short.

One piece is on the officer you are to kill in the main base.

The other piece is at the house that you get the address for from searching the smugglers (after you kill them of course).

I got something really strange, i went to the supposed location of the main camp and than guerrillas friendlies arrive in a APC, whenever i walk into the woods i got shot by someone in the back. It looks like the friendlies shot me seeing nobody reacts to the gunshots and there is not a enemy in sight. I hear the shots as they where 5 meters away from me...:confused:

Playing with new patch. My main camp isnt near the dam it was 2km SW of where you have to escort that women to her helicopter. Camp had T72 but a M1a1 squad came near and i got in as commander and took out camp.

Where it says Area of Operations on the map, i encountered an enemy squad there and got message i had found sentry camp. Killed squad but cant find camp and it didnt apear on map so not cleared yet.

Have some people found the camps or do they just skip it? I found the 4 that were posted on the map but not the other 2

hi dude... I think that's all of them. Looks like the map was updated on the 21st with the remaining sites, including the Ostry one.

The orange marks west of the Ostry is the location of the main enemy base.

I thought there were 6 camps, I can only see 4 on that map. I have found those 4 on my game and base camp but the game still goes on. Thats the only task I have left. Sentry camps are the green circles and other tasks are orange circles.

Just found fith base at grid 0805. Unfortunately it wasnt on a hill top so my theory of driving to all of those seems pointless. Just need one more

Thanks for that. I was in the same boat, and found the last sentry base at 080051.

There were only 4 (official) sentry bases for me, although I did find and kill another just East of point ESCORT where the chopper picked the woman up.

Found the camp but the soldiers had wandered off so cant clear it. Pretty annoying so i just skipped it eventually

AAAAAAGH!

Perhaps, like me, you will now spend an entire evening trying different approaches to knock out the base camp (the LAV eventually seems to proceed of its own accord), being killed again and again and again, only to get the autosave, followed by the message that you've secured the base, and a second later, a message saying Razor 3 has been killed - game over. Only now my autosave point is literally the point at which the bullet must have hit him.

FFS.

One more thing - If I switch to my sniper, why does Cooper decide to leap to his feet from the "prone" position I'd left him in.

Well blow down with a feather, just came to post, and this is EXACTLY my situation. I had the "authorize to go" so they are ready for my command, then I just got lost on how to tell them to go, the communication menu only has the chopper evac option and nothing else.

Despite the message that they are "ready for your order" I think that you just have to wait and they will start attacking of their own volition.

Where the heck is the "Insurgent Leader"? I assumed he would be at the main camp (especially seeing as Coops says something along the lines of "I can see him and he looks oddly familiar"). I cleared and destroyed the main camp and after the Captain asks you to look for the leader's body, Cooper replied to him "I can't see an obvious leader" and the objective remains incomplete. I've read in this very thread that people killed the leader at the main camp... so where the hell is he hiding on my save?
