derfmeister 10 Posted June 19, 2009 Does anyone have an inclination to "why" there are so many problems with this game? I'm very curious. More and more these days i'm seeing games being released with a plethora of technical problems. Could it be the credit crunch? Do developers have low budgets and short deadlines? lt.chris 0 Posted June 19, 2009 Consdiering the size of the game its pretty bugless, also insted of complaining about the "high" levels of bugs how about you report them in the community bug tracker?
sgt gul 0 Posted June 19, 2009 it aint easy to make games these days, the games are getting very complicated. its not what it was 10 years ago
derfmeister 10 Posted June 19, 2009 Considering the size of the game? It would be interesting to measure the bug:size ratio of todays games. I would assume ArmA II performs badly on that scale. I'm not going to report all the bugs because it's like working for BA, for nothing.

(mouse lag-I don't have it others do). Or maybe it's a feature and not a bug?
Lauxman 10 Posted June 19, 2009 I'm not going to report all the bugs because it's like working for BA, for nothing. Or any of them, so who knows what you're talking about. I don't think it would be a stretch to say that you don't even have the game yet.

mosh 0 Posted June 19, 2009 There is no other game I know of with such a huge map and so much to do and so much going on. It would be impossible to isolate every bug without hundreds of beta testers. I would rather have them release it early (and let us be the hundreds of testers) than to wait many months more. There will be many patches and mods that will eliminate most of the issues people report... just make sure you report them! This is the way things are now. Most games are released early due to pressures from publishers, bosses, even us who want to play NOW. Accept it, and help the games you really enjoy become better. MulleDK19 21 Posted June 19, 2009 Mouse lag is because their graphics card is too slow. Lower the settings and it'll disappear.

Accept it and the next game you buy will be buggy too. If you don't insist on quality, no one will worry about providing it for you.

I didn't know there was any MMO using the Real Virtuality 3 engine.
