@alpha-kilo: Why would anyone download a demo if they already have the full version? Probably a couple of fixes, but not worth the additional download. At least I wouldn't.

However, I would probably reccommend it to those who have ordered it but not yet received it. I've ordered from play.com last week. They promise shipment within 24 hours, and expected time to delivery 3-5 days. That time has passed and then some. Free delivery, but we can't start tracking until 21 days has passed. I have no idea where mine is. Stuck in customs by a summer replacement all to eager to do his job perhaps? I don't know, but I'm beginning to develop a heart condition here.

Downloading the demo in case I have to wait the full 21 days (certainly don't hope so, might arrive tomorrow even). But the longer I get into downloading, the slower it gets. It's like there are higher powers somewhere not wanting me to get it.

And I've needed this since I`m not sure my PC can run it and I currently don't have the money to upgrade so the demo for me will be decisive.

I get that sometimes with Steam too. Often doing the following helps:

1. Pause the download.

2. Restart steam.

3. Resume the download.

Nope, installing the redistributable worked for everyone else, so there must be something fundamentally broken in your OS install, that or you could just search for the dll on your hard drive, make sure you really do have it.

I have never had issues with my OS, it's windows XP sp2, I downloaded the program from your link and installed it, I ran the demo and got the error.

Ok, I figured my issue out, I had downloaded the file from your link but I clicked again and there was another file, I had to get a plugin for that new file so now it works.

IT TOOK me 5 HOURS TO DOWNLOAD THIS AND IT JUST DOESNT WORK WHY???

it says file copy error ( CRC doesnt match )
