NGFT 0 Posted August 25, 2008 Hi guys, I would be very happy to see a working real view mirror at the cars. It increases the feeling/atmosphere alot, when you're watching through it and you see T90's hunting you. Also it's good for the first person view, I never manage it to park my car proper or to drive away when someone with a higher speed is behind me. Is this possible? Keep going on the awesome process with ArmA2, I will buy it immediately!
Acci 0 Posted August 25, 2008 I have good news for you. Look at this video, it is shown at 1:09 and it reflects!
SaBrE_UK 0 Posted August 25, 2008 Hmm I don't think that's a true reflection, I can't remember the technical term for it.

dr_eyeball 16 Posted August 27, 2008 I think they are changing the slogan for Arma 2 to something like: "If you see the T-90 in your Skoda's rear view mirror, it's already too late."

ricoadf 0 Posted August 27, 2008 "If you see the T-90 in your Skoda's rear view mirror, it's already too late." Especially when its gun is pointing at you
EricM 0 Posted August 28, 2008 if this is not a reflection map, then it may be even more interesting than it seems... Here's why : Given this is not raytraced reflection, this means it's faked with a "picture in picture" system, which is the first step to working ingame TV, multi function displays in vehicles, TV guided missiles, UAV's, multicam and so on... No more dead monitors in the tanks, helicopters, Strykers... but a working outside view.
