Actually a small trailer was planned, yet it didn't work out yet.

So instead you can check a bunch of simple teaser videos on this page:

The list of used addons is to credit the people for the usage of

their excellent work in the videos. They are NOT part of this

project in any way. tounge2.gif

Added the clarification on the page too.

Giving credits for used addons in screenshots and movies is

common practice though I believe. smile_o.gif

i think there's a bit of confusion what you are actually doing. And from the posting it's not entierly clear either.

Do i understand you right that you either want to provide a system to automaticaly convert OPF missions to ArmA or want to provide the converted missions themselves? Or am i completely off with my guess here.

Added a bunch of more videos to the page.

Of course it is no super mega awesome videos, yet at least to me it

brings back some good old memories of the CWC area.

Hopefully some enjoy the videos at least as I do. xmas_o.gif

i am looking forward to your work! i made a mission pack of old good ofp missions for arma in the past and currently i am working on a cwr warfare mission.

Please ask or feel free to improve the wiki site yourself.

Added WANTED list in the wiki and in the first post.

Bit unfortunate news. It will be not possible to deliver the conversation

voice files of the OFP CWC and Resistance campaign.

This means you need to add them from your local OFP

installation yourself.

A guide how to do that will be added to the wiki with the release. smile_o.gif

To make this clear it seems that Codemasters doesn't even own

the conversation voice files themselves (completely).

So no resentment to CM at all for that descision.

That is why CWR is using voices from OFP: Elite. Maybe you can too, if you can get a copy of it or get the files somehow.

I believe the missions and voices have been changed in it though, maybe you can just copy the missions from OFP: Elite instead of the PC game.

Maddmatt is not about the common soldier chatter.

Instead it is the voice files from the dialogs - the campaign

conversation voice files.

Are you sure these are different in OFP:E?

Are they better?

I mean it would be pretty easy to merge the files from OFP

itself.

Afaik in OFP:E they were re-recorded and BIS has the copyrights on these.

Yep, they are different. As to whether they are better I guess that is a matter of opinion.

I can easily send you the Elite stuff but need clarification from BIS as to whether that would be acceptable wink_o.gif

There is a reason why we at CWR using the Xbox soundfiles. And no it's not because we like them that much.

Also the xbox campaign is slightly different then the original CWC campaign. While the story is still the same, some missions have noticable changes in them or are not present at all.

In short that means if you use the original CWC missions but the xbox soundfiles you have to deal with missing soundfiles and/or stringtable entries that doesn't match the soundfiles.

Nope, can't do that. While it's easy enough to port pc missions across to Elite there is no way to do the opposite.

With a little work changing the mission file (in a text editor) it should be possible to get it to work in ArmA. It's just a matter of getting it to a format that ArmA will accept.

I don't know how difficult that will be though confused_o.gif

Thanks for the input guys!

Well my personal vote is going for OFP campaign conversions, as

the CWC campaign and all BI SP/MP mission already work quite well.

So I think it will be better to distribute those without the voice

files and instead add a little script and/or description how to merge

in the OFP voices from people's own OFP local installation.

A short update on project OAC.

1)

CWR and OAC will supplement each other. As the class system

for CWC+Res missions will be the same for both, it is possible to

play CWC/Res missions converted via OAC in CWR too.

2)

CWR and OAC will work together on the CWC campaigns.

While CWR uses the OFP:E as a base and OAC the OFP (PC), both

will share solutions to make the campaign as playable as possible.

3)

The OFP (PC) CWC campaign will require to have OFP installed

as to BI's request for copyright reasons (simple registry check).

4)

Access to the development source should be available tonight or

tomorrow.

Nice to hear, Q. I was playing Pathfinder in ArmA the other day; possibly my favourite OFP mission, and so I can't wait to see how this conversion goes.

How did you play the Pathfinder mission - with CWR?

Or did you or someone else make it playable in ArmA by hand.

The wiki section of project OAC for developers takes shape now.

The part how to get the source version of the compatibility addons is done.

Feedback would be very much appreciated as you can find a

very detailed step by step description how to get the stuff.

I would be interested if its too complicated, too detailed, not

understandable etc. wink_o.gif

The details how to get the already converted missions and

Note that this stuff is meant for developers.

So it requires some effort and a little technical expertise to get

whell good job soldier i realy likedt the campaigns of opration flashpoint cold war crisis and resistance much beter then arma campaigns. i was wiching and prying that some one make this happen notworthy.gif  mi quwestions are

are the campainse same like origenal i mean in the opf campainse u can not followe the story line and chest walk around on the island and steal som chopper or tank wy oof the mission opjectif i mean dit u meneg to make this happen as wel (the island is ociepidt) and can u make the dounload in som oter wy i mean in a zip file and cheast the pbo files  and host it on som site cos i wandt to ceep mi pc clear of som oter runing programmas. tanks for the creat job ... by the wy i have oter exspansions as wel dit u ever hear of Between the lines its a exspansion of opf look here

Ok, here's my problems...

1.

I followed all this instructions: Play OAC with CWR MOD - instruction inside, and when I launch the game this message appear:

Addon 'Cwr_Editor' requires addon 'CWR_vehicles_land_tracked_T80'.

So, I click Ok and the game start anyway.

But, if I recopy the file "CWR_Ed_T80.pbo" at the Addons/CWR folder, the message don't reappear.

There's my shortcut: "C:\Program Files\Atari\ArmA\arma.exe" -nosplash -mod=CWR;@oac-optional-cwr-placement;@oac-optional-cwc-res-music;@ace_islands;@oac -world=empty -maxmem=512

2.

When I launch the "Ambush" mission, this message appear:

"Cannot load texture cwr\cwr_units\data\cwrface33.paa"

For the winter missions, why the ace_islands addon is use? The CWR Addons looks like more beautiful.

Exemple: In the ace_islands_Kolgujev, many trees are in the air, not on the ground.

I would like to know... What's happening about "pmc_fury.pbo" in the Campaigns folder? Because, we can't access the Campaign Menu in the game.

Have you updated to the latest version available with Yoma tools?

The latest version has added the ability to select campaigns when using the CWR mod.

the oac optional unit replacement lets you use community made addons to replace the default ARMA units. For example the striker can be replaced with the M2 Bradley, ericM's Hind replaces the Mi-17 etc. If you use the replacement addon you will need to make sure that you have downloaded the actual addons themselves.
