Mainframe, I see what you mean as far as people exploiting that in MP. That never even crossed my mind. I was hoping to use the system to load other user weapons only in SP as I haven't played much MP in a long time. More or less just to load the weapons from crates phyiscally in game and not so I can load any user weapons whether it's crate appears in game or not. I hope this makes sense. Shins 0 Posted June 24, 2008 Any lite versions to test out the Hueys only? We use our own units (Slo/Cro) and would love to use huey for a new MP campaign. Have a look into HWM site and you will find separated each pbo of our MOD Althought you will need the "Core" and "Weapons" PBOs. Please be awared man ... you can use it the way you like it ONLY local. Read the manual disclaimer for more clarifications regarding this issue. Thanks Whereabouts on the HWM site can you find individual pbos? Can you provide a link? I've got the weapons.pbo but can't see the 'core' one. "The Greek - Persian Wars" the link in download section is this, core is locate at miscelaneus HWM Download section keep note that, by having weapons, core and air (it's liike having 60-70% of the mod, i believe that 2 more pbos (units-vehicles) isn't so much trouble to have. Give it a chance Almost to forget @ Mainframe.... cut the crap... those who know, undratstand that i'm not going to leave my Xaroula for anything. now, let's get to topic. I have not had a chance to check the whole thing out yet, but one small error I did notice: The charging handle on the FN FAL should not cycle back and forth with the bolt when the weapon is fired. EricM 0 Posted June 25, 2008 Just a quick feedback... The model is really nice, and the forward/backward pitch of the huey seemed improved over the previous version. My only gripe would be that it can still bank too much. I'm no huey pilot, but I doubt you can do a full barrel roll at almost 0 speed in a about 3 seconds. I'm no expert in flight model configs, but I think RKSL uses some nice tricks to trim their flight model (they published it in a tweaked A10 thread, so I think it's no secret) and I'm quite happy of the result on my hind : in the geo LOD, they create something like 4 boxes to which they apply most of the actual weight of the aircraft (like 80%/90%, and 10/20% to the actual 3D model): 2 in the lenght axis, and 2 in the width axis, and by moving those boxes forward, backward, left and right, up and down from the center of the model, they can actually change the center of gravity of the model, it's inertia and ultimately its handling. Tweaking the config values is only finetuning at the very end, since most of the flight response comes from the actual inertia of the "weight" boxes... Obviously the further you place those "counterweights" from the theoretical CoG of the model, the more "stable" it becomes. The closer from the CoG, the more "manoeuvrable" it is... manzilla 1 Posted July 11, 2008 HWM fellas, I got a small problem with the M72 LAW. It seems to not appear anywhere in the Greek Ammo boxes and when I add it to an ammobox(the weapon and ammo) it wont reload when I equip it. Now, I know LAW's are one shot anti-tank weapons but the problem here is that it is not loaded when I equip it from the ammo box I put it in. And since I can't reload it, well, you get my different. Besides this everything else seems to be working well. The new pack is fantastic. Once again, I can not play a mission with out at least adding a few UH-1's and Leopards to my side. ON the racs Huey when your pilot or the gunner The weapon screen says the guns name As M60D while the guns are MG3s what gives.l on the other hand the rest of the pack is amazing @ one slight suggestion. Why not make the m113 @ leopard 1 racs versions along with the huey @ gd 240. it be cool to have some more erou armor in the racs arsenal Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Actually not putting it in the ammo boxes was done in purpose. As you said we had to keep 2 "must" for the sake of realism 1)M72 is a one shot disposable AT 2)M72 is a folded weapon So  as you know we can't put scripts or Event handlers on the weapons it self in order to make the M72 completely global with all above conditions present and with folded capability, so we tried to take a detour Actually if you check the weapon is folded on the shoulder and when you switch to fire it is opening.Believe me this gave us hell to do because every time you were firing the weapon it was closing in the player's hand looking completely stupid I manage to overcome this by doing some silly tricks and by hiding the empty weapon immediately after firing. Now everything was working like a charm, even if you grabbed the weapon from a dead GI.If it was unused you would shoot if not then you were just carrying an empty tube The same thing is happening if you create the weapon somewhere and you go pick it up. For some only BiS reason when you are picking up AT weapons from boxes they are getting to inventory unloaded.I search everything to resolve this but nothing So the disposable issue remained and one solution seemed to  exclude the other. In order  not delay the release more we decide not to put the LAW in the ammo boxes. Actually in our games if we want to grab one we are just creating them in the ground ready to picked up. At the moment I have no idea how can I make it working with ammo boxes too . Any ideas would be very appreciated Fritz160 wolf, regarding  Leo & m113A we will make reskins BUT at this point we have plans to upgrade them a little bit by adding better textures more details and full internal views. Since this will change the UV maps it would be like double job to re reskins now and again latter . But I promise, you will see them in the near future + vietnam M113a . Ohh I also checked what you said about UH-1. -HAC-_mainframe 0 Posted October 11, 2008 Well guys we are working on many projects both for air and land  Unfortunately most of them are in modeling or basic O2 import face so I can not really tell you what pack 4 will include. On the other hand  judging from the work load  and since we are already flying with the AH-64 I can tell you that the Apache will certainly be in it. So we have concentrate our efforts to bring it to a point that we can present it public and then off coarse proceed with it's goodies . Plan so far has FFAR's-Hellfire-Stingers-Flares, ECM countermeasures, moving pilots hatches, HWM damage indicators, HWM destruction system  and as usual much more I hope Any more ideas on it?
