So what's the progress since the last blog entry?

All generated vegetation is nearly done, after we totally reworked the scripts for conifer trees for better results....

The changes from Arma's vegetation wouldnt be so noticeable without the blog entry, hope it will perform as nice as it looks/sounds.

too much bloom for me on those screens.... but vegetation is amazing

Nah, the bloom looks good, though the sky might be a little bright. I always thought that Arma was a bit too dark.

Completely the opposite. Arma was too bright and pretty, i almost felt guilty waging a war in such a nice and pretty place

Uh, i think the colours in Arma could have been stronger actually .

LOL, you know what they say about opinions...

IMO Sara was too vibrant, I prefer a desaturated look.

But that aside, the new veg looks stunning. It would be great to have some sort of automatic texture swapping ability for different seasons.

They said somewhere that vegetation (at least grass clutter) could inherit color from the satellite map. Hence, by changing the satellite map with winter or summer look, you would probably see the change immediatly on some if not all vegetation...

Ah, and I was wondering if it's just in my head or is the grass coloured differently depending on mask, looks very nice now, much better than ArmA.
