oblisk 0 Posted May 9, 2008 PROBLEM:Whenever I have ECS enabled, and the enemy uses AK's far away, I get these distorted "popping" sounds. Is this a common bug for ECS? This happens with both lite and HD version of ECS. I have tried playing games without ECS, and the problem goes away. I have tried installing beta audio drivers for my soundcard too. Sondigo Inferno. ^Anyone?

mrcash2009 0 Posted May 12, 2008 Ive had the same write file issue, logged in as admin etc, write protect off for all sub folders and files and the B*strd still wouldn't let me. I ended up saving it to a different drive / root then doing a rename of original and paste of the new one. Bloody annoying and I couldn't see where else in vista I could do it any other way. M.Andersson(SWE) 4 Posted May 12, 2008 Soo. Is it ok to say its vista oriented... Anyone with XP having this problem?? When you pasted the new file did you rename it back to the original name??

Elias999 0 Posted May 17, 2008 I've had ECS for a few days and one issue I have is that I cannot complete missions because after a while freindlys start shooting at me. No its not because I have shot a few teammates. The one mission I was able to finally complete listed several of my freindly fire casualties as "Internal: ECS thingEFFECT". Also, I've noticed that at about the same time my team starts shooting at me the medpack function stops working. Is there any way to disable the bleeding effects or just to resolve this issue. Does anyone else have this issue?

poweruser 10 Posted May 27, 2008 Quote[/b] ]how can I play it without the other things? Is this possible? The 2 setting files in the @ECS\Bin\ folder allow you to disable almost all of the "other things". The ECS Settings Table explains what each setting is good for. Specter 0 Posted June 12, 2008 don't know if this has been mentioned before, but i played devils cross yesterday and after catching one round from a t72 i started bleeding in my a10 and couldnt get out to fix myself... so could it be possible to either turn off bleeding while in a vehicle or be able to do first aid in vehicles (maybe with a lower chance of success)? paelleon 0 Posted June 13, 2008 Hi all, I installed the ECS mod on ArmA v1.14. All great, fantastic, but I have some sound bugs. - radio chatter from destroyed vehicles. - squad messages sounds are missing (example: OH NO, 2 IS DOWN! ). - turret rotation sounds missing. - bullet's "sound barrier broken" shockwave sound missing. Is there any setting to solve this? thanks.

hamis 0 Posted June 14, 2008 You get radio sounds back by deleting ECS_Quiet.pbo
paelleon 0 Posted June 18, 2008 You get radio sounds back by deleting ECS_Quiet.pbo Hmmm... do you think this way is more real? Personally I appreciated the shockwave sound a lot, it is a great feature of ArmA, realistic. I hear it every time I go to the firing range, when I'm changing the target. Do you think the radio messages from the team members are unrealistic? I know that not every army has a radio for every soldier, but they can always shout. In AmrA your soldiers cannot shout:"2 is down, sir!" or the much more useful "6 o'clock, enemy, tank, 500m!".
hamis 0 Posted June 18, 2008 Realistic or not,i want to use them. And those shouts should be there as far as i know.I haven't played any missions yet,i try to make this game good enough by modding/editing first.
