-=seany=- 5 Posted August 29, 2007 anyone else with a microsoft wireless laser mouse 6000? I find its sucks ass. Cant tell whether its the laser or the wireless. it has a very high res but is really imprecise. Some games are worse than others. Arma aint too bad but OFP is pretty bad and BF2 is also. pmd 0 Posted August 30, 2007 Logitech G5 2nd gen just picked up this week. Â Got sick of not being able to precisely aim, especially with iron sights. Â Always would jump way more than I wanted even with just a slight mouse movement. So I would shoot to the right or left of my target. Even with the G5 I have to kick it to highest resolution and I also brought the mouse sensitivity way down in the Arma settings. Â Now I can aim the way I wanted to and I like how it takes a little time to line up the sights (due to higher res moving cursor slower) sort of like taking careful aim in real life. Â For snap shots, CQB, etc I leave the Logitech on the middle resolution setting for faster response. i pretty much did the same thing. i love this mouse and the MX revoluction mouse wheel was hard as hell to push so the G5 is one huge step up from the MX in my opinion. if it's to easy to press i would always find myself pressing it on accedent and then get my head blown off as a result. G5....

xav 0 Posted August 31, 2007 MX revolution Good choice Y_T the revolution really is an amazing product one step ahead. I am surprised not more people use it... maybe $100 is a bit expensive for a mouse (I hesitated a long time before paying that price for a mouse indeed) Never heard of your Uberoption. Will give it a try. thanks

If that Revolution ever came out with a cord, or had it so you never had to ever charge it or anything, i would get it.

Now I keep it simple, That's strange... i've had my MX1000 for 2 and a half years, and it still charges fine, and the battery lasts about 3 days of constant use before it dies (even though i put it on the charger whenever i go to sleep so it never actually goes flat, or ever gets close). Probably the best, most comfortable mouse i've ever used (i have big hands too, so i don't find it to be bulky). With a decent mousepad it glides along nicely... perfect weight. Oh, and setpoint is only like 11mb.
