FischKopp 0 Posted August 24, 2007 Hi! Maybe a stupid question, but i`ve a small problem with the .paa/.pac format and Texview1/ Texview2. Since I`ve installed the tools, the .paa/.pac is no longer associated with the texview proggramms. I tried to modify the sttings again via "Open with/ always open with this programm" But WinXP do not recognize the texview programms anymore. So I´ve to localize everytime the .paa/.pac files via Texview file directory. This is realy ineffevtive and cost some time to browse through the folders to find the textures. Does anybody know how to solve the problem? Maybe some modification in regedit? I´ve no clue!
simba 0 Posted August 24, 2007 I use to have the same problem with the old Texview, never found how to fix it, PanTool might help you but doesn't load normal maps and diffuse map (v1.3).

Hi Jerry, The solution to your problem has been described here : http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin....2;st=15 In fact you just need to add the old DLLs from Oxygen Light in you O2 PE folder and refresh the DLL folder in your options. It worked for me.
jerryhopper 285 Posted August 25, 2007 i HAVE these dll's ( got them from older tools)
HulkingUnicorn 0 Posted August 25, 2007 Having them isn't enough jerry, you have to set the dll path in the settings again (and restart o2) before it works.
Chris Young 3 Posted August 25, 2007 For example, change the path in your options to an other one that won't work, click ok, and go again in the options to set the good path back. Then restart O2.

FischKopp 0 Posted August 27, 2007 @jerry Hopper: Thx for hiyacking my thread with a non related topic . As I said, I tried the file association through the Windows pop-up menu. I searched the texview programms and selected the "always open with" button. But this not work. Windows switch back without adding texview. So i have to open all .paa./ .pac files manually with texview. It has something to do with the installation of O2 and Visitor but i don´t know how. Maybe through the registry. Any solution?
