manzilla 1 Posted June 23, 2007 Where do I place the Money Stack pbo's? Where is the RES folder? I can't seem to find it. I'm using the US version, not sure if that matters.
dob 0 Posted June 23, 2007 Res folder was for OFP not arma you need to extract in the Addons folder
fiftycalfrontman 0 Posted June 25, 2007 Guh, these 'head rags' etc, you speak of are divided into several catagories. A kuffiah is the head dress that is worn long, tucked into the back of your dish dash held in place by a figure-eight of black rope. It is wrapped around the face and tucked in at the back to form a full-face mask, to provide protection in extreme conditions. The T-U-R-B-A-N you misspell is a had dress of a plain linen sheet folded into a triangle, than wrapped around the head and back of the neck. The rag hat Kerry calls a 'turbin' is probably a Pushtu hat, a woollen skullcap wrapped in cotton rags. Apologies about the anal retentive-ness but casual ignorance of others cultures subtletiesmakes my hands itch. That and bad spelling/grammar. Anywhooo, great detail, Love the stylish bankrobbers, reminds me of the spy in TF2.
Hit_Sqd_Ack 0 Posted June 26, 2007 It's called a "Ghutra" and the man-dress is a "Thobe". - Ack (corrected miss-spelling)
wipman 1 Posted June 26, 2007 Hi, this Dallas cops and the thiefs, could be great for a big "catch the robbers" coop mission, so instead chase a single suspect, we could chase a big gang and gun 'em all down like any good LA SWAT operator will do with a suspect. It's a bit sad to don't have a Dodge Charger RT/SS V8 Interceptor or a Super Bee Interceptor, that will be really pimp. Let's C ya
fiftycalfrontman 0 Posted June 26, 2007 @Ack, never heard that one. Kuffiah for the headdress, I'm pretty sure thats what it's called, seeing as I lived in Saudi Arabia for a while, and I own one.
Hit_Sqd_Ack 0 Posted June 26, 2007 Thobe - Why do men in Saudi Arabia wear Thobes? http://www.toursaudiarabia.com/thobe.html Ghutra - Gutra usually worn in Saudi Arabia http://www.desertstore.com/pages/mensclothing.html I've spent my share of time in the Horn of Africa, Afghan, etc... - Ack P.S. - I have my own collection of Thobes, Ghutra's and Prayer Rugs as well. But alas my girlfriend won't let me put them any where but my Marine room *sigh*.
Hit_Sqd_Ack 0 Posted June 26, 2007 @ Charles - I don't want to ruin the surprise but something is in the works. Again I dont' want to ruin it but I promise you will be happy. The only hint I will give you is "GOL Clan". Warning you, this is a spoiler if you figure it out. - Ack P.S. - I seriously need some help so if anyone knows anything about modeling, texturing, etc.... please contact me. I don't care if you only know how to model basic objects that will be fine, thank you.
