jerryhopper 286 Posted May 15, 2007 Alrighty - this just popped up on the sahrani press agency! it seems that sahrani finally opens its doors to the internet! i cant wait to checkout the public library or the museum through my browser! Quote[/b] ]CORAZOL (SPA/SR) - May 15 2007 - The kingdom of South Sahrani and the Democratic republic of Sahrani have come to a agreement with Sahrani's telecom giant 'SaNet' to exploit the island's TLD ( Top Level Domain) for community purposes. Negotiations have been going on for more than 6 hours untill the agreement was signed. For Residents of Sahrani, this means that personal homepages within the .sah domain are finally possible. Before the top level domains are available for the public ' a few weeks will pass' according to a SaNet spokesman. Here is the official press release: Many years, Sahrani has been isolated from the world but an island as beatifull as sahrani, it couldnt stay isolated. During these years, Sahrani has become a holiday paradise and become a source of income for the island. despite the presence of some unstable regions, North and South sahrani decided to open the 'digital' door to sahrani. Our national telecom company 'SaNet' will be the domain authority, and will release more information about the TLD availability in the near future. www.sahrani.sah

shinRaiden 0 Posted May 16, 2007 Um, if you're going to be rolling non-ICANN TLD's then that means you're also going to be using a DNS system that's disconnected from the ICANN tree. Your millage may vary, significantly.
