A10 Thunderbolt

ok guys, i'm releasing my first addon ever, and this is just a rework. For now all i have done is added smoke to GAU8, this is a seperate addon, does not overwrite bis a10.

Changes:

-Added GAU8 gun sounds

-Added Engine sounds

-Added FFAR/Maverick Firing Sounds

Ok guys, Got some good news.. i will also being coming out with:

Now, the mix variant will not be until the mod tools, but the

other variants will be coming within a month or two.

What i need, is a skinner. Some one that knows how to skin

without mod tools, i have one person working on it right now,

and i think it would be best to have two.

yeah, ill also being doing a mixed a10 verison, but ill need the mod tools to do so, so that will be later... my next step is changing the sound of the gun to more realism, then maybe look around at the armor values.

And i will probly be relooking the smoke out of the gun, to make it... mmm better, but later.

That would be very cool if you changed the sound of the gun as well because the current one is entirely wrong.

In real life it sounds like a long elephant fart. Its a very wierd, but distinct sound that I remember many times from being in the US Army. The A-10 is a hell of a plane so I'm glad addon makers are trying to make it as realistic as possible.

and was just working on my own gun smoke,

but hey you made it already.

Made smoke more transparent so you can now see in thirdperson when shooting the gun.

i wonder if you can do make it so that if you pull up to an ammo truck you can change your load out just like the apaches in ofp's ffur mods

i could, but only once the mod tools were out i could do that, not just that, i would need a good scripter to get that done.

Its a nice addon, i couldnt have done any better, but i think some sort of camo pattern is needed, and its a bit 2 yellow for my liking.

well, i'm not sure if the A10 with new gun sounds will be out today. Tomorrow looks like thats when it will be done.

But i'm working on making it work right as i speak so, we will see.
