FULLY WORKING ON 1.05 AND UP !

Southern part of sarhani from demo, relooked Desert like.

Fully pleable and working, this version is V2 beta.

(not really nice from the sky at this time...)

to do or improove for final version:

- textures shades from far distance

- change area names

- swap the road pannels to match real names

- swap some houses to better fit desert

- include sand storms weather on island

                                            I had a very nice time testing it,hope you'll like this beta

And here was the first Bio newspaper, made of the Sahrani trees:

                 

... I was so happy I couldn't stop myself and soon, trees started to leave the island even before i was able to reach them !

                 

                 

It was warmer and warmer, I add to sell my Chainsaw for a beer, and by the time I found someone on the island to buy it

I understood I should have left the trees alone;

I figured out that I was a new victime of 'Local Warming' !

and south sahralite island became SaharaLite v2

Whats' different about your version to McNools version.

I like that your working on a desert island but can you tell me in less than 10 words why i should have your version instead of McNools.

Looks like his version is completely desert without grass etc. and pure sand, while mine is less desert, and more.. well, just dry.

Desert is Desert and Dry Land is Dry Land, they are two different countryside this is why we have two different island

Play on both !

Nice looking Island *Pics*, Ocramweb.

I bet that McNools's and Ocramweb's Islands are huge Frame Rate boosters, because there is almost no vegetation. Right?

And that will be perfect for me and my "Old Sh1tty Computer", when I get my Armed Assault this week.

2- the link is on top now, but it wasn't at the time of your post.

1- for the palm trees they do grow a bit where they whant until we have any tools to do or modifie any island.

I won't have much time the next 3 days so if you guys, never now...come across a lost web site without this bright island news up    (lol) It 'll be much appreciated.

For the multiples PM, or questions on how do you take the trees out?

- you have too.............read the tutorial i'll write as soon as I have the time to type down all the instructions,and only once

the system used has been fully tested,as not so regular, it could still turn up to have bugs, we'll see what comes up with people with diff video configs.

Hope you'll have a nice time,and try not to play at noon unless you have good sunshades.

yes i know all the texture from the air, or in far view have not been optimised yet, but will be corrected in next release.

as well as taking out the grass rolls, pannels, and better placing of palm trees along changes on some houses for a better desert feeling.
