Ironsight 1 Posted March 23, 2007 Well, OFP.info has 24hours according to my friend, so that's perhaps valid here to? No, this is not the OFP.info forum. German MP-40?

BlackScorpion 0 Posted March 23, 2007 Yugoslavian M56 SMG, 9mm Para.
xawery 0 Posted March 23, 2007 Very good, wrong calibre though! Less than half an hour! Go ahead. Quote[/b] ]The M56 submachine gun appears to be a simplified clone of German MP40 submachine gun, adapted for 7,62x25mm pistol ammunition, which, compared to 9x19mm ammunition of MP40 provided longer effective range and better penetration, but slightly less stopping power. The M56 submachine gun had a relatively long service life.M56 submachine gun is blowback operated, full automatic only weapon that fires from open bolt. The bolt system is of simple design, with exposed, large diameter return spring. The cocking handle is located at the right side of the bolt and doubles as a manual safety - pushing it inwards locks the bolt in open or closed position. The stock is copied from MP40 and folds down and forward to save the length. Sights are of open type, with flip-up rear, marked for 100 and 200 meters range. One unusual feature of M56 is that it has a bayonet lug on the barrel and thus can accept a knife-bayonet.
BlackScorpion 0 Posted March 24, 2007 Yeah, good notice... but I was playing simultaneously so just quick look, and it says 9x19mm above. Kinda pointless with Ironsight and all you other fellas around, but...
ran 0 Posted March 24, 2007 Yeah, good notice... but I was playing simultaneously so just quick look, and it says 9x19mm above. Kinda pointless with Ironsight and all you other fellas around, but... http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/3374/huwda2mq4.jpg looks spanish to me -edit- I was wrong, it's more likely to be eastern european, surely not russian, but it reminded me of some field expedient AFV's build by the spaniards in the 30's. After some research it appears to be a czech made skoda PA-II
BlackScorpion 0 Posted March 24, 2007 2h 43 mins... correct, it's a Skoda Pa-II, used by Austrian police (?) in mid-30's...

ran 0 Posted March 24, 2007 PANHARD 201 AM 40Pregards, TB good job It was to be fielded in late 1940, it's the next generation french armored car that never was. 600 were ordered but the events simply killed it. It can be seen as the EBR's daddy in its concept and the technical choices that were made.
