discussion and not completet

they have some bugs

kneepads have the camo on it.

get rid of the IBA texture... make a proper british vest

or wyvern full assault or all arms vest

but overall pretty cool

For a start the british desert troops do use camo desert knee pads, all you need to do is check on google,& they may also use other types but the ones i saw were camo.

And thank for pointing out the obviuos as i think every one all ready knows that,& if bis release a good 3D modding tool then ill be able to change that, although i have received your comment well, & will take note of that cheers buddy your a star. lol

Ps so what modding tools do you use, because ill download them from some where & use them.

Here is a pic.

And by the way your a little slow on the uptake m8,but cheers anyway for your interesting comments.

The DPM Shoulder-straps for the Camlbak look a little...weird, other than that, I'm loving the updated webbing textures, as the woodland ones especially looked odd comapred to the BDU texture.

Plz do you mean the colour of the vest ?

I think, or at least from how I see those straps, he means it looks like the texture is just plain dpm, rather than having details such as stitching etc.

Good work mate, know how hard it is to sort out the DPM camo paterns myself lol.

Theres sumut a bit strange about the desert DPM textures, I'm not sure myself what it is at the moment, can't make up my mind if its that the darker parts are too close together or sumut else. I have a feeling its the HDR in the photos thats making it look a bit strange to me, either way, tip top mate

agreed, i spent 10 minutes talking on TS with some of the VCB guys with the same opinion, something isn't quite right, but we can't put our finger on it. I am drawn to it being the brown is a little purple, but im not so sure.

geee.... i cant wait for the updated troops.... hopefully with some british guns smile_o.gif

even though the current units could pass as SAS operatives smile_o.gif

och, and any chance that you give the landies brittish crew and put them under BluFor?

that would be sweet smile_o.gif

I will say has any one got a template that show where the straps are shown for hydration unite would be really helpful , plus here is a pic of the progress so far on my UK_DPM'S.

As far as I remember, Vilas has a few British boomsticks in his ever-growing collection. You might ask him if you could stick 'em to yer lads.

Oh, and a couple of dudes with maroon and green berets would be super sweet as well  notworthy.gif .

Not being funny But some people are a little to picky, ill give any one the templates & the tools in which to do them with, & im sure they will see where im coming from & maybe they can make the brown look a little less purple if they like.

I will say that out of quite a lot of comments that i have reseaved over the last month thats a first lol.

But on a higher note i have made all the changes that im going to do, ie.matching webbing /pouches /& also the vest colour, plus sorted out the straps as well, all i am waiting for now is to know weather or not they are going to use british weapons.

Yours G_H_PLAY_AKA_BOSS......................... welcome.gif

Regarding the weapons, vilas as contacted me & gave me the go ahead to use them, its all to do with the damned from ARMED ASSAULT ZONE to weater or not they can be used as he is the one that makes the config ect... although i see no problems in it happening & i will keep you guys posted.

You are so correct that was in my mined when i got my fist idea to make them,i see some one know where i was coming from at last lol.

As the sas dont use standerd british army weapons they use a lot of u.s.a. & global weapons instead, in case any one did not know this,as i know & have talked to quite alot now an exe sas soldier his name is john mac i dare say some of you guy may even of heard of him.

Here is a pic of me & john mac just before starting combat training in wales.

you posted your pictures on a public forum, thus expect public comments. If you're just after praise, then you're in the wrong forum - it's a two sided coin.

I know exactly what's involved in making an addon, so don't start patronising me about being picky and not understanding the hard work that goes into it. If I think the DPM is a little purple, then that's my opinion. I don't require you to belittle it.

I like what you've done, and in such I would like to see it improved to the potential I think you possess with this addon. It's very good so far, so why not make those small inprovements that seperate a very good and an excellent addon? It's all in the details

Sorry buddy was not having a go & it was not souly directed to you, & i totally agree with you on that one its just using potoshop to change the colour tones when their are multi colours involved, is the hardest thing to do ,every thing else is easy just the colour matching is really difficult to do thats why i said that & am sorry if it came across as a bit harsh sorry for that did not mean any thing by it .

In order to change the colour again would probly need to start again ,have lot of plungins for cs2 but have not found one that can do that yet, if you have one let me know as could use one cheers.

on a lighter note here is two more pic that i have updated.

colour matching is indeed a pain, mainly as (well at least in flashpoint) the colours you saw in photoshop were never the same that appeared ingame.

I can understand not wanting to do it all again, and I don't blame you for that tounge2.gif
