as we cannot get hold of bastler for some reason we may go for our own marines but its up to the team to decide that.

no new pics yet but im currently learnig how to make two doors slide at the same time (if anyone knows how tell me please smile_o.gif )

going to work hard on this as im moving house in two weeks so i want to as much done on my end before then but will get straght back to work as soon as the computor is set back up (stuff the bed the com's more importend

tounge2.gif ) starting on walls and possibly the sentry guns tonight but well ill see how it goes

Anyway,here's how the interior

of the APC is comin along.

I'm compromising between the movie

version and what it will look like in game.

As anyone who's familiar with the APC

will know,in real life it can barely hold 4

people.But the movie version seats around

3 times as many.

I'm holding off on finishing the

textures,til the geometry is in

place.

looking outstanding so far! Although I think it would be a better Idea to get the vehicles,troops and weapons done before starting on buildings.

I hope this project doesn't end up like Nephelim's over-hyped addons.

I remembered looking at all those monitors, I have a script somewhere on my hard drive that allowed you to switch between viewpoints of your teammates, almost like the helmet-cam from the movies. I'll have a nose around after work tomorrow for you guys.

I knew doin this APC would be a challenge,

but I didn't realise how much of a challenge. smile_o.gif

Anyway,I've no intention of stoppin now,

and besides,I'm actually enjoyin it.

Again,please bear in mind this is a work in progress.

After someone "accidently" deleted my entire

view cargo lod,I've been burnin the midnight oil

tryin to get back to where I was.

I managed to do just that.

I updated texures and added some more

window dressing.

well now you mention it, i was busy yesterday trying to create a facehugger in a jar smile_o.gif wel the jar worked but i have no idea on how to create an facehugger... i tried to take a normal bisman hand and hen remove the thumb copy the hand and rotate it into place but it looks like hell lol smile_o.gif

anyone has an idea? help is very welcome!

(if i have the facehugger ill also be able to create a dude with a facehugger on his face wink_o.gif )

heh maybe even add this to my eggs and when your standing close to the egg it opens then your screen goes black and you hear a facehugger sound... lol sweet :P

top work guys atm moment im making a large facility thats incorperats al the buildings the team do it will be large enoght for the apc to drive in and will have the armory comms room etc etc

fantastic work on the apc can you snd me the smart gun modle i noticed in the apc? i could do with thats

@snowball: sure, but the geo lod is always bugging on my end and no paths yet so you could do all that... if you want.

But on closer inspection,I think he's

trying to point out a way of makin

a unit or object(facehugger)appear

at a specific distance from the player.

At least that's how it seems to me.

Would still need some work though,

if that's the case.

yes.. the facehugger sounds like a created-in-front mask smile_o.gif
