mikie boy 18 Posted June 20, 2009 just to let you know - have vista 64 and was getting major receiving bug - however read through threads and realised that for the last year or so hadnt installed sp1 or 2 - tool i know, just assumed windows update would do it. anyhow - since installed sp1 and 2 - no more receiving bug issues using patch 1.02 :) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Before patch 1.02 the behaviour in this case was to terminate the application. Since 1.02 we reset the device and continue running. I only was able to play 10 minutes at this time. Sometimes it happens immediatley sometimes it happens after 45 min and sometimes it does not happen at all. S!fkaIaC 10 Posted June 22, 2009 It is actually not true what Suma mentioned: Before patch 1.02 the behaviour in this case was to terminate the application. Since 1.02 we reset the device and continue running. ...or I understood it wrong. It never terminated the application, but I HAD to terminate the application to get out of the "Receive..." screen blinking in some cases. If I was lucky, I could solve it by tabbing with "M" to map and back. Last night it happend 2 times to me that it did not work. Never had this kind of issue with ArmA 1 (but random CTD instead). Thirdup 0 Posted June 22, 2009 I get the same "Receiving..." black screen often (in single play it mostly just pauses the game, but it MP it means getting killed pretty quickly). I get it sometimes just driving along previewing the map in the editor (with no other units or vehicles spawned). I get it in SP and MP missions.
