Boborish 1 Posted July 30, 2006 Outstanding work FFUR Team! I really like this new version. Also I have to congratulate to RHS team for their briliant Mi24!! But I found one thing, what I really dislike - negative FOV.

AtR 0 Posted July 30, 2006 im having a lan party tonight can i play this on multiplayer if everyone has the pack? Yes I assume. Played with Average Joe on my hosted server, seemed to work fine.
Blazen 0 Posted July 30, 2006 Installed the new FFUR2006v2.0 to a WIN32 Dedicated server Runs fine until you start the mission and then gets 16x256 texture aspect ratio error and crashes. I believe the same thing happened when I installed the v1.0 never did get a responce on why this happens... but it doesn't happen with any other mod on the server. Shadow NX 1 Posted July 30, 2006 Good to see this one out, congrats to TB and the rest of the team! Also nice to see that the Hind already found its fans, hehe
CameronMcDonald 146 Posted July 30, 2006 I agree wholeheartedly, but shouldn't the 2006 Hind be the P variant (perhaps with exhaust covers)? And 5.56mm rifles shouldn't have tracers - didn't I include this in my bug report?
Blazen 0 Posted July 30, 2006 The tracer thing really just depends. I mean I carried a SAW when I was in the military and I didn't always have tracers but somtimes I did lol. I dunno how that works but thats the way it was.
Blazen 0 Posted July 30, 2006 By the way is there going to be a MP config ? or is it the one the pack currently comes with? is this the reason why people are getting the 16x256 texture aspect ratio error on Dedicated Servers?
Messiah 2 Posted July 30, 2006 Installed the new FFUR2006v2.0 to a WIN32 Dedicated server Runs fine until you start the mission and then gets 16x256 texture aspect ratio error and crashes. I believe the same thing happened when I installed the v1.0 never did get a responce on why this happens... but it doesn't happen with any other mod on the server. dedciated servers will always crash with texture rations greater than 6x (so 8x or over)... divide 256 by 16 and you'll see what the problem is. Shadow NX 1 Posted July 30, 2006 I agree wholeheartedly, but shouldn't the 2006 Hind be the P variant (perhaps with exhaust covers)? There is no Hind-P in FFUR06 for the simple reason that we wanted to have a Hind in it that is close to the BIS one so missions wont be screwed. I think that would have happened cause the bird will react completely different with the sidemounted cannon, for a human player that isnt much difference but for the AI it surely is. About the exhaust covers... maybe, but we gotta keep a tiny bit for our own release i guess

1in1class 0 Posted July 30, 2006 yes love this mod but iv got an issue with the face text2 pbo, in the last mod it worked fine like I know that the faces look crazy in the editor when you pick them but in the mission with your main guy its to look fine, but it doesent now the face looks all crazy in the mission like it does in the editor for picking your face. Plz help me on this
Blazen 0 Posted July 30, 2006 Checked out the preferences on the server and the auto drop down is set at 4x so thats not the problem.
lee_h._oswald 0 Posted July 30, 2006 It's a texture inside the mod. You need to find the .pbo which contains the "wrong" texture and strech this texture to a valid ratio. MfG Lee

Well replacing the Shilka with a Tunguska will surely do that anyway...? That was FFUR decission the only thing we ( RHS ) could do is to at least give them a fitting Hind to keep the missions at least a lil bit playable like they were suposed to be. I for myself would prefer a Shilka as much as i dislike the idea of having ulra rate tanks like T90s in the mod... but that FFUR teams decissions not mine. Blazen 0 Posted July 30, 2006 just a guess but this means no FFUR2006v2.0 on Dedicated Servers atm?
