Mapfact's Respawn v3.0

Well, it's done. The last project lead by me for OFP. What are we talking about?

Mapfact's Respawn is a modified and limited instant respawn.

After playing OFP's normal respawns long enough many people were looking for a compromise between an infinite and no respawn.

With Mapfact's Respawn the mission maker can set the respawn count to every number he wants. Instead of instantly respawning

another player of the same side has to come close to the dead body to respawn the dead player. After the set respawns are used,

the spectating script is started automatically (when it is not set otherwise by the mission maker).

Hi, I loved Mapfact Respawn 2 which i modified slighty. Could you list features of MAPFACT Respawn 3 comparing to version 2?

And thanks for your work. I was still waiting and I red about your problems during beta testing.

That's more or less all I changed, not too sure that this is all I did, though, as I wrote the list after doing most of the work... wink_o.gif

And if you were using v2.0 before, here's the list for v2.5:

hmm i keep getting a boulor scale error thing and it goes into a cutscene over my player and all i can do is press escape..

i just started up your test mission and clicked preview and it attacked back with this .. as you can see the screen starts to fade out and then it just stays in a cam pos over the player.. and i cant moive or anything.. just escape.. lol

Ive tested it with and without ECP and i just dont get it, i redownloaded it and it never worked.. but the funny thing was when i first downloaded it a week or so back it worked.. now it doesnt ? i dont get it? i just downloaded and tryed again and it still doesnt work?

Welll... ermmm... that happens if you don't test your test missions... I hope I can fix it soon, but not this WE as we have our Mapfact Workshop. But it should work if you inlcude it in your mission correctly... whistle.gif

i did test the test mission.. it doesnt work. lol i cant see what could of happened.. it worked, then it stopped working now it doesnt even work fullstop sad_o.gif

Sorry, I meant I didn't test the test mission before releasing it or at least not the last version of it... wink_o.gif You're not "guilty" firefoxlover.gif

Hi, respawn work fine, but you cant play alone, you need a player for heal you.

In these examples ais not available (disabledAI = 1) and need a human player.

Try to play with some friend or join at ECT server, a lot of coop maps with that respawn type.

Remember: Play this coops with human player.

Respawn is a MP-Script/Tool/Thing what ever....

Using it with one Player and AI is not really the right Way.

If you do that strange things are may occure ...
