Hudon and Pennywise

Hi guys,

Does anyone know if Hudon and Pennywise are still active members of the OPF community? The reason I ask is because I've retextured their F-18 using photoreal textures and, would like to release them (There are 3 USMC squadrons and 13 USN squadrons available). P.S. I've tried emailing them with no joy.

I don`t know if Hudson and Pennywise are still active. You`ve done a very good job on the textures. I hope you can release them in the near future.

I was able to get permission to use their Hornet for the ADF mod, but that was a few months ago. Dont know if you can still contact them. However, they might take awhile to respond, did for me

Is the new texures the only improvement youre making to the planes? One thing that always bugged was that you werent able to fire those wingtip Sidewinders, yet Ive seen this been done on other planes. Twould be good if you could modify it.

wow, those are some nice looking textures for those hornets... they look like the textures on my F/A-18's in FS2004 now if only i could get some textures that real on my mod's vehicles

Why not contact Pennywise? I've seen him active on Radishville forums recently.

It looks like those F-18 still have the original lighting problems, would be nice to fix that before releasing.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the input. Hopefully the textures are going to be released real soon. I've just sent an email to Rico from the ADF mod. Since he already has permission to modifiy the F-18, he might as well make use of the them. Whilst I'm on the subject of permission I may also seek to release the C-130 in the near future. This too is photoreal and comes in both USAF and RAF schemes. Sadly I know that both models suffering from lighting problems. Regrettably this is beyond my capability to fix.

Icol, i remeber speaking with you about this about 2 years or so ago  

I really hope that you will release the skins. I think it´s fine to credit the original authors of the addon if they aren´t reachable what seems to be the case here.

Also a question about the F-14 in the pics. I guess it´s the one from ikar? are those also new skins?

Sorry for the late reply but I've been unwell. The F-14's are the ones created by TomiD and footmunch. They are his textures so I'm not taking any credit for those. All I've done is change the texture colours slightly to match those of the F/A18 and Nimitz models. In addition I've added about 10+ squadrons and retextured the various tail art for each of the squadrons.
