TeRp 1 Posted November 26, 2005 Nah, it's not Christmas. Not yet. But there are some early presents for you anyway, and we hope you like them. Here we go. For several weeks RBVV und Snorri have been working hard refurbishing the old Unimog created by der Loki. Besides new high resolution textures, several new variants were added including a rare one mounting an FK20 automatic cannon, which is available both as kind of an arcade addon as well as a more realistic variant. Another addition is a variant in winter camouflage. Unimog v 1.1 in Operation Flashpoint Download Unimog v 1.1 The Unimog isn't the only thing that has been redone - Snorri added winter and desert camouflage to our Dingo, which now should be ready for pretty much any island available for Operation Flashpoint. Dingo v 1.1 in Operation Flashpoint Download Dingo v 1.
TeRp 1 Posted November 26, 2005 Even that wasn't all for today, as Snorri also reworked the Marder textures so that they better fit with our other vehicles. In addition to several fixed problems (the Marder is no longer amphibous, for example, which it was by mistake), Snorri added winter camouflage for it as well. Marder v 1.3 in Operation Flashpoint Download Marder v 1.3 Due to many changes we had to update the Basic Pack once again. Like last time, the new version is available both as a full download (11,27 MB) as well as a smaller patch (4,03 MB) which requires a previously installed Basic Pack v 1.56. Most noticeable is the addition of the P2A1 flare gun made by metalchris. We hope it enlightens you. Download Basic Pack v 1.6 (Full Download) Download Basic Pack v 1.6 (Patch v 1.56 to v 1.6) One last thing - apparently there is a second BWMod which can be found at http://www.bwmod.net. We'd like to express that we have nothing to do with these damn imposters. //edit: Damn image restriction

krycek 349 Posted November 26, 2005 Hmm oaaa is it the time already?Guess I have to make my daily prayers to BW Mod altar. Thx a lot guys for the new units. Also not to sound like an offence but since you update the basic pack so often could you guys add some sort of flak jackets for your troopers??Even the most basic body armor model will suffice.Your troops don't look much combat ready without a flak jacket ,they look more like regular soldiers with guard duty assignments. Here are some pics to see what I mean(sorry, the detail is low but you get the picture): http://service.spiegel.de/cache....00.html http://service.spiegel.de/cache....00.html http://www.dw-world.de/popups/popup_lupe/0,,1635642_ind_3,00.html
metalchris 0 Posted November 26, 2005 Krycek is right , they are indeed a placeholder. In fact we are working hard to give you some state of the art combatready soldiers with "Splitterschutz" before armed assault (depends on release)
Tomislav 0 Posted November 26, 2005 just as a matter of interest, are such desert and winter versions produced, never really seen or heard about them
TeRp 1 Posted November 26, 2005 Of course they are, e.g. the Dingo Image by Panzerbaer.de Winterversions are also common.. <a href="http://www.panzer-modell.de/referenz/in_detail/marder1a3/P1020021g.jpg" target="_blank"> Image by Panzer-Modell.de</a> However, the last pic shows only a provisional winter camouflage. HotShot 0 Posted November 27, 2005 Excellent job guys, very nice. Didn't realise there was a UniMog out before, even from MMP. The updates are all nice, with additional camo's for them very much appretiated - they will not go unused. Mirrors for all files here.
