yes i know, they are making a type 21 frigate, i saw pic of it i think it was in the falklands progres topic, but i coundn't find as some of the pics are down

i did find an older one but im sure there's a newer pic

The correct designation for a Carrier Task Force is CVBG  (Carrier Battlegroup).  Maybe CSG is used as slang for naval warfare gurus, but in my long time studying modern naval warfare and playing the sims thourghly, only CVBG has been used.

The differance, i presume, is its task. CVBG more of a long term commitment force while the CSG is more of a short term commitment. as in the Army and Marines. establishment and defence vs. forward movement. i donno. i just got the info from the Navy website (official) about a CSG.

Finally, some work on an eastern ship ..... Krivak Frigate, type III ... or is it IV can't work it out cuz various net resources push different pictures. Anyhow ... a nice modern design.

- 15A Bangalore Class

- Slava

- or Udaloy .......

Krivak III has Helo Deck, Krivak IV does not.

Udaloy is not a cruiser, it is an ASW destroyer.

BTW, that's a very nice Krivak model, can't wait to see it ingame with effective weaponry.

Good luck on the textures, I know that's going to be a long ordeal.

Thanks arkengel, I have a basic La Fayetta model but it doesnt fit to the "Fleet" so its shelved for now.

He folks,

there are a lot of very nice ships at the spanish mod......and for the reds it could be a good idea to finish the ZUBR ship.

It needs some final work so you could do transport of tanks and mans for thje eastern side

Question for the guys making/made aircraft carriers.

Have any of you "named" the aircraft arresttor line for aircraft landing? Need to know the name/s so script can be made for the A-6E Intruder and EA-6B Prowler for carrier landings.
