@CameronMcDonald: Sure will. I'll (hopefully) be including the M4A1 w/ Aimpoint optic as a seperate optic, only used by the M4 series of rifles (as right now the aimpoint ioptic is fairly generic and is used by all aimpoint'ed rifles/smgs etc. Using the new version for all these weapons simply wouldn't fit, and as such a second optic will be needed (YAY! More code to alter in the config! ).

In other news, I've decided to drop the G3s again, due to several (rather large) model inaccuracies which will take a whilo fix, so I'll hope to include it in a future version.

Arrrr, those pesky G3's, you'd think that they wanted to be released, but noooo...

Thats the right G3, and thats an image I sent over MSN (AFAICR), so was never uploaded to my FTP. Anyway, helping_hand is correct, there are numerous things wrong/inaccurate with the model, as such its been shit-canned (for now).

to be honest i'd just leave out the g3 for good and concentrate on tweaking in the future or making something else like maybe a sig 556 or even trade it in for some more RL time

Anyway, I think that the G3 would be a good addition to the pack. It would open up the OPFOR end of the pack. Right now, my OPFOR are armed with mainly AK-47s, a few LR300s, M16A2s, M14s, and UMP-45s. The G3 would give my OPFOR a little boost.

Thats a pretty well armed OPFOR...You can always use NorFor's AG3s

Yes, the DMS (Israeli Defence Force (IDF) designation)/DMR (Rest of the World designation), will be included in v2.0 (the next release of the pack).

I'll be including an M16A2 DMS, an M16A4 DMS (both definites - they're already coded), and possibly a CAR-15 DMS. I haven't modelled the CAR-15 DMS yet, depends on how much time I get. Might add it in a further updated (v2.1+), I'll see what time I get. Right now I'm concentrating on getting the BETA of what I've already completed out, so I can get some feedback. Once the BETA is released to my testers, I'll see about adding new weapons (well, the CAR-15 DMS anyway).

i think i've just created a timebomb for the thread when people see that post...

came across something jackal that you probably wont be intrested in i saw a pic somewhere with a m249 para equipped with an m203! could that be replicated on OFP although with the dexterity values he probably wouldnt be able to run very far any way just a suggestion for if you ever had some spare time to combine the two lovely weapons together

I remember seeing that in some film..I thonk it might have been the hulk and thinking wtf It could be done, but the question is why? It would make no sense to have a grenade launcher on a squad support gun, its doing two jobs at once and just make the thing heavier
