FFUR Incoming HUGE RELEASE !!!

Thunderbird 84,

The "leaning and rolling" AI is just too tempting a feature for me to avoid asking/begging you this question:

Is there any chance that with the next release of FFUR you can supply an easy to implement alternative AI that just happens to be able to lean and roll?

I don't know how complicated this would be for you to do, but if you placed it in a separate folder, then those of us who have the capability to handle its greater demands would have the option of choosing to use it. The "normal" FFUR would NOT have the "leaning & rolling" AI integrated into it, but with a simple "copy & paste" this AI could be enabled for those who desire it.

Doing this generous favor for guys such as I would get me to pray in your direction an extra time each day! notworthy.gif

I'm pretty sure the twin 30mm cannon on the side of the nose doesn't pivot or move around like the nose turret's gun can

Well sorry , I expect to make only 1 config to avoid that people get confused, but I can do a "special FFUR config extra pack" for people who want to play online , for people who want VME scripts or for others who don't want leaning/rolling animations , but only once FFUR packs released

Ahh that's simply because of the way mine uses different variables to exec the failure.sqs

If you exec it like

[_this select 0] exec ""rotorfailure.sqs""

instead of

_this exec ""rotorfailure.sqs""

then it should work smile_o.gif

YAY! I am going to be able to eventually have AI that lean and roll! THANK YOU for that. And I'm not worried if the "special FFUR config extra pack" comes out after the "main" FFUR is released, as I'm just thrilled that you're willing to go through the extra effort to make that bonus feature pack for those of us who want the "leaning & rolling" AI in our FFUR. I'm a patient man when it comes to something as profound as the improved and more beleivable AI.

Till then, I can't wait for your next release.

which tracer effects are you using ive been looking for some for my mission just cant find very good ones but the ones in FFUR are great

Hi,

FFUR tracers -> Soldiers MG

BN_880 tracers-> Tanks MG

King homer/FFUR tracers -> Choppers/Planes MG

Some good news mates , the FFUR 1985 and 2005 are totally finished,

@Thunderbird, those are some great optics. Just curious on the 4X32 ACOG sample. I can't tell if in fact the optic is in fact magnified? Thanks

Thanks to your posting of the new jaw droppingly good optics and the two films, my wife now thinks I'm a freak because I have an endless stream of saliva pouring from my mouth due to drooling over the fantastic looking work that's being done!
