Yes and No. It's the 'not very desert'-guy as mentioned earlier. An unpatched bloke in DPM. Found in WEST-->MEN--> - section The desert SAS just got a webbing version btw. Thought it was stupid to restrict 'em to assault vests only. Other than that it's typing, coding, typing and an occasional meal for me. wi77ard 0 Posted June 21, 2005 may i seem a little thick please? you talk of randomness when using the SAS blokes, will there be a way to stop the randomness and have each soldier with a standard set of gear? I love the UKF stuff, but as of yet no SAS blokes released!! Would love to see some jungle and 95' pattern SAS blokes out there. On a slightly different note, although related .. if anyone knows there i can get some decent english camo faces please let me know .... desperately looking .................. Maybe thats whats meant by tropics. Ok, I get it but it's all desert-release for me at the moment. I'd be happy to talk jungle after this is out of the way. If it's any comfort they actually fit in pretty well on Tonal jungles with that 'wood' outfit because the DPM clothes went to the same violent drycleaner as the desert ones (bleeched and rolled in sand). My 'SAS' guys are just regulars with shemaghs. As for different kinds of face camo, I believe that BAS did a camo face pack with their Delta/Ranger pack and I think Lowlands Warrior did one with their infantry packs. Although they're not British, I think face camo varies between people and how they apply it. British camo is meant to be applied with three fingers in straight lines, but I'm sure soldiers alter it. mr reality 0 Posted June 22, 2005 Sorry to go offtopic but AFAIK UK forces don't have tropical DPM anymore they use the regular 95 pattern DPM. My Brother has just come back from Belize and these are some pics of his unit there. Stelios 1 Posted June 22, 2005 I thought seb nam pack 2 camo faces were really effective in OFP. But they are really jungle faces(which could suit that not so desert SAS bloke).
