I think you have to place it manually in Mission Editor (have I missed something..?). You can find it under Empty->Farmland Research Complex (2 pieces actually). I think I'm gonna setup a little CQB DM in there for me and my bro tonight. smile_o.gif

Oh... (spoiler...): I've spent a few minutes trying to open the entrance to the Secret Underground Lab... after a while I've realized how it works and I felt like MiG played another April Fool joke on me, just 3 days later... tounge_o.giftounge_o.gif

Was it necessary for this addon pack to have its own config? I mean what if a person wanna use another config mod like ECP/FlashFX ? I wanna be able to use these standalone is it possible if i chuck out the config folder out?

Was it necessary for this addon pack to have its own config? I mean what if a person wanna use another config mod like ECP/FlashFX ? I wanna be able to use these standalone is it possible if i chuck out the config folder out?

I'm actually using all the farmland addons with Y2K3 and no problems  smile_o.gif

island works great, just had one ctd when i run the bat template but other than that it has worked very well.

the towns are really nicely done and as the others said the lake was cool but even more cool with dxdll biggrin_o.gif

yeah i also had fun with the swamp logic tounge_o.gif

could make up for some scary happenings there smile_o.gif

also played with the alpha version of jason and fml civilian cops and civilains in a town at night and the airwolf mod wolkswagen civie cars pack , there is a police car there that has a siren with sound and all xmas_o.gif

i wonder if there is a way to make foot print sound extra much or something?

My brother recognized crystal lake from the movies, without even knowing what this island was all about!

I've already got a bunch of creepy scenarios running through my head, just from running around exploring...

I seem to experience some kind of bug when running the horror pack 1 (Vampires) with the mod though. "no entry 'config.bin/cfgweapons.GENB_Vampthrow'.", something. Don't know what that's all about...

You need GENB_Vamp addon by General Barron to run my vampires, that's why you got that message error wink_o.gif

Then whats a config file doing there? They are suppose to cause conflicts with each other if you use more then one and start OFP.

*|wispers quietly as not to share the secret too much|* umm if you install just the addon files and not the bin and dta folders.. the island still works wink_o.gif

The Island is fully compatible with any mod or installation after 1.96 and no need of farmland mod folder to work smile_o.gif

So as far as i understand the bugs found and suggestions are:

-The lift (elevator) script;

-The CWC pine forest should be replaced by RES one;

-Lighting problems and walls too large in the mall;

-Swamp has a sound prob and should use more vegetation to look better;

-Little "lag" at night, using some scripts;

-Duplicated ladder in the airport radar tower.

I've pointed this ones, and during this weekend i'm correcting them for the beta release, so if anyone has noticed some more, please repport them here asap

The bugs are corrected and about the lift bug i've noticed something strange: if i use a mod unbinarized config the lift is replaced by the windmill but if i use res binarized config everything works fine smile_o.gif

Of course not, you can place all the addons in the res/addons folder and everything will work the same way except the Farmland Island Intro and the farmland Gui smile_o.gif

I have not downloaded this pack (I cant right now, must prioritate school sad_o.gif but I will later smile_o.gif ) but this made me think that it was a config.bin for this pack:

There is no extra config. Inside the bin folder you have only the resource.bin that is needed to display the Farmland gui.

If you place the farmland pbos files in any other addons folder (res/addons or any other mod folder/addons) they will work the same way) The only difference you will noticed is that the farmland island cutscene will not be displayed, unless you open the farmland island pbo and repatch the cutscene in the island config to the location where you place the farmland anim folder wink_o.gif
