orson 0 Posted February 4, 2005 Empty / ORSOLES / Dug out East / ORSOLES / PK dug in The dug out is a generic hole for placing units or statics The PK pit has a PK on a tripod ( can only really be placed on flat terrain) Imo the only one of any real use is the empty position , the PK one has its drawbacks thus why i left it in 2 pbo's , feel free to tamper with it as you see fit , more colour schemes as soon as i can get a decent ground texture for each of the main maps. Any ideas or tips on how to improve this are greatly appreciated . http://www.project-ukf.com/Orson/beta_addons/ORSOLES.rar have phun
Blanco 0 Posted February 4, 2005 Man, I love these! Best I've seen so far, they realy fit well with the enviroment. These will work well with my trench & fixedpos script I think the PK is very usefull, actually he's very deadly... only... - tThe getin action only shows up when you are in front of it. - The PK has a light, can you remove it? - When somebody boards the PK, animation is wrong. I really hope you will make more of these, I've been waiting since day one for some good fightpositions. Great job! Any tips?...hmmm maybe a little wooden roof i(f it doesn't block the units' view)

bonko the sane 2 Posted February 4, 2005 methinks this addon wins the worsenamedaddon prize. they are very nice and fit perfectly in the ofp world, btw, you did include a few p3d models and tga textures. p.s: is there a way to fix the pk gunner anim? as it is the gunner is kneeling over the mg. Chris Death 0 Posted February 4, 2005 Quote[/b] ]more colour schemes as soon as i can get a decent ground texture for each of the main maps IMHO this ain't necessary since such fighting positions (wether they are new or actually in use) usually don't wear grass on 'em. Surely there are some, but better would be some brown textures (mud, earth .. ya know). Wooden cover or camo nets would be good too (some with some without). Maybe some trash like empty cig's - empty coke's, bullets or empty mags etc (just to give em' some touch of life). Great work tho - keep it up mate ~S~ CD
orson 0 Posted February 4, 2005 Thanks for the comments / tips , i will be doing a few more empty positions rather than trying to force any particular weapon to fit . feel free to adapt / modify to your own likings . Inside the .pbo as bonko pointed out , there is other material that i was going to include but didnt , rather than bin it its there to use by anyone , a couple of textures and another smaller cresent shaped dug out for anti tank statics , which is fairly complete , just needs the texture repathing and a mention in the cfg to get it in game.. if anyone wants to do that , can you either post up anyfix here or send it to me via PM and i will post the fixed version  Q : where can i get my hands on the original BIS land textures ? P.S thanks for the linkys
