I don´t know if it was already asked, but is it possible to connect the trailer to the truck by a script?

So that the ai can pull the trailer?

Or is it the same problem like the 18-wheeler?

Wow! Very nice addons! The tank carrier truck and trailers are especially nice and the hitch script works flawlessly. I haven't tried it with AI yet however. But if it has the same problem as that 18 wheeler addon then it probably won't work. But I'll give it a try anyways when I get home today.

I agree with others that the HKY textures would look alot nicer rather then the default BIS textures and models. They also have good PASGT and Intereceptor body armor models, however I have no idea what type of body armor Turkey uses or if even body armor is standard issue for regular infantry. From what I've seen most armies in the Middle East don't issue body armor to regular infantry...only to Special Operations soldiers if they are lucky.

But since Turkey is part of NATO they may do things differently perhaps.

The kevlar helmet however looks fantastic. Excellent modelling on that helmet. Its probably one of the best looking PASGT style Kevlar helmets that I've seen so far.

I also agree with what someone else said about adding OFPEC standard tags. For example on your PBO's the should say something like: TSKhkrifle.pbo

That way it avoids confusion when a player is trying to figure out what addons belong to what mod if he's trying to throw away addons he's not using or that are outdated.

As for the G3, it is an excellent model. My only critique is how on the first person view, the top looks a bit strange.

However, as I said, from the 3rd person perspective the model looks excellent. Also I applaud your mod for giving the G3 accurate dammage capability with one or two shots causing death. 7.62x51mmNATO ammunition is very lethal.

The BIS G3 rifle ammo was very underpowered (even less lethal then the M16 ammo for some reason).

At any rate, I think that so far your addons are looking great.

I hope to see Turkish M60A3 tanks, F16's, trucks, APC's, Cobra gunships, blackhawks, as well as commando forces, AT soldiers, engineers, and snipers in the future.

But so far its looking good and at least provides enough to make some missions with.

Franziska's problems are same with the "18 Wheeler"

Tsk soldiers pacak is in development stage so may have some imperfections.

Not to go behind our schelude, we had to publish addon at this stage.

We couldn't finish military accessories. At the newer version we'll add standart accessories of Turkish soldiers.

We have to update G3A3's textures and config files.

We are new at this area. Our following projects will promise being among high quality and standart addons.

Looks very nice. I wont download just yet, not because your addons are not good enough but because there is no realistic opfor. Maybe greeks or kurds?

Otherwise they look great and big thanks for posting those web sites about turkish military, Murat.

Turks and Greeks live in peace for more than 80 years. Also, Kurds people are a part of Turkish Rebuplic. They have the same rights and opportunities like any other citizen living in Turkey. Kurds are not enemies. On the other hand, we have only one enemy, terrorism like any other country in the world. Moreover, our national leader Ataturk said that "Peace at home, peace in the world". We try to live in with all nations.

Our major goal to prepare this addon is giving a chance to use military vehicle. Also, we prepared Turkish Soldier models to enhance our package.

We will relaese our final version as soon as possible, we ll inform yor about developments. smile_o.gif

Am I that badly informed about history? Didnt turkish army wage war against kurdish guerillas in the 80's? rock.gif

I also have a faint memory of some conflict with Turkey and Greece sometime in the 50's.

Or was it Cypros (spelling)?

put the trailer, and truck on the map in a position like they are already hitched...

name the trailer (for this example the trailer will be named "trailer")

put this in the init line of the truck:

the truck and trailer will connect.

The AI do not drive trailered vehicles very well though...they jack knife every time they back up.
