theavonlady 2 Posted November 29, 2004 Klinks Utilitiesgrr why isnt this url link formatting properly I think the blank before the word "utilities" is messing it up. Try this: http://www.dc3d.co.nz/downloads/ofp/tools/Klinks%20Utilities.zip Better yet: Klink's Utilities.

Blanco 0 Posted November 29, 2004 Very nice tools! For the record : The scroller script is NOT mine! It's from COC. I just wrote a tutorial (see sig 4 link) , so people can do the same thing, COC did in the impressive intro that came with the tomahawk mod.

colonel_klink 0 Posted November 29, 2004 Correction added above. Blanco's tutorial, not scripts... I have no axe to grind over the use of the script. Personally the utility above is to assist people in the formatting, that is all.

colonel_klink 0 Posted November 30, 2004 Uh oh..Gremlins at work. Thanks to the vigilant eye of CSJ a minor bug was found in the color selector. The green and blue values were displayed wrong when the sliders were moved. It didn't affect the values to be copied, but indicated some sloppy programming on my behalf. File updated above. havocsquad 0 Posted November 30, 2004 Yay, this should make my efforts for text screening for my campaign tons easier. Most of the time I just look at the description.ext with the custom text & fonts and trying to understand it and I just keep saying "HELL NO!". The problem is that the overall format and structure of it is confusing. I know how to deal with variables and creating objects, doing arrays, etc., etc. However, it is just too much for me to figure out how everything works for dealing with custom text for screens. Anyways, thx a ton Klink. Later, Havoc.
andersgrim 0 Posted November 30, 2004 These tools are nice! However, when I adjust the green bar, the "Color value" for the blue bar is being changed, and vice versa. Have I just messed up here, or is something wrong? Btw - This is also visible in the published screenshot at ofp.info, note the color value for the green bar represent the value for the blue color. havocsquad 0 Posted November 30, 2004 Hey andersgrim, read Klink's recent posting about the utility, he mentions this problem quite clearly. Just a UI bug, doesn't affect the outcome of the finished product.
