MrZig 0 Posted March 2, 2005 Aha, nice. Forgot to say that two of my .22's are single shot bolt actions. You can tell how frusterating that gets when after every shot you have to work the bolt, get another shell out, stick it in, then thrust the bolt forward. By then all the game's gone since you missed lol. Can't wait for my new .22 semi auto to arrive Soon!
Ares1978 0 Posted March 2, 2005 After the first shot, the game usually takes off anyway. It's better not to miss. Â My single shot was made almost 70 years ago, so I'm not using it that much. Are you getting a Ruger or a Marlin?
MrZig 0 Posted March 2, 2005 Quote[/b] ]After the first shot, the game usually takes off anyway. It's better not to miss. Sure, but if you have a semi auto you can fire as it runs lol Quote[/b] ]Are you getting a Ruger or a Marlin? Neither, actually. I'm getting a Remington model 597. Ares1978 0 Posted March 2, 2005 Neither, actually. I'm getting a Remington model 597. Really? I've got one, too. It's got its good sides and bad.

CAPAIRMAN 0 Posted March 2, 2005 I am a a fan of cutomization of weapons. My last attemp to customize my BB gun ended in a destroyed air tank. Anyway, I have found the in customizable weapons: the potato cannon. I still like hunting with my mossberg, but you have no idea of the joy of dumping whatever you want into the barrel then firing it off with hair spray. And the best part: Under $15 to make. Nice STEYR... Is it a pre ban, or does it have the heavy post ban barrel? I have thought about getting one, but the only ones I have found locally are post ban, and I dont like the barrel. The Steyr USR is a post ban only weapon. They are modified Steyr AUGs that have a number of features removed or changed in order to comply with the Gun Control Act of 1985. However, the Steyr AUG is preban only. They were imported before 1985 and are becoming scarce and will not be imported into the US again. If you really want one, they run about $3000+. SneakySix I did not see your pic, but if it can beat the guns I personally own, I use an M60 LMG and a Twin 50cal mount on board my ship. I also am responsible for VLS or vertical launching missile system.

SKULLS_Viper 0 Posted May 21, 2005 You guys are correct. Â Just wanted something cheap, and something that shoots cheap ammo. .22 are just great for plinking. A lot cheaper then .357 Magnums my Winchester shoots.

D.murphy man 0 Posted May 22, 2005 Jesus christ! Wish i could get my hands on a fire arm (just for target practice of course! ), really tight laws on guns here in the UK, even a BBgun can get you in trouble with the police.

By the way, do you have Federal Ammunition(Or American Eagle), over where you live? The Federals pack a lot of wallop for the price, compared to Winchester ammo, or anything else I've fired.  By the way, do you have Federal Ammunition(Or American Eagle), over where you live? The Federals pack a lot of wallop for the price, compared to Winchester ammo, or anything else I've fired. Actually, you are seeing 5 boxes of .357's. 3 boxes of S&B and 2 boxes of Aguila (they are labeled .38 Spl, but contain .357's). We do get Federal over here, but the local gun store doesn't carry that brand. I don't think Federal is that much cheaper over here anyway.
Bordoy 0 Posted May 22, 2005 I own no guns, but i do ammo but only a really small amount.
SKULLS_Viper 0 Posted May 22, 2005 I'm thinking about "pimping" Â my Ruger 10/22 out maybe. They got some really cool looking stocks, that look like the M1 Carbine with a folding stock, but more modern, and fiber glass. Sound good? Â Oh and yea, I hear you can shot either a .38 special, or a .357 Magnum in my Winchester. But I've always stuck with .357 Magnums. It seems as the .38 special doesn't pack as much punch though.
Ares1978 0 Posted May 22, 2005 You can shoot .38 Specials in any .357 Mag, and around here, .38's are cheaper. Some say they shoot better with .38's, but I don't.
