Shalashaska 0 Posted September 25, 2004 Sorry if this is the wrong forum. I figured it would not work in troubleshooting either. Nor is there a topic dedicated to the release of these Goggles. http://ofp.gamezone.cz/_hosted/inquisitor/files/addons/INQ_NVG.zip While I've gotten the Nightvision effect to work, and a new model appears for the NVGs...it certainly isnt the one shown in most people's Screenshots. I've unpboed and repboed Data and Data3d for both Resistance and Cold war crisis, as well as placed it in my Newdata folder for Llaumax (And ran it to include it) *Using patched Resistance, DXDLL, Llaumax, and ECP*
Jackal326 1181 Posted September 25, 2004 That simply looks like its mapped the new NVG texture to the OLD (BIS) NVG model. Are you sure you added the INQ model to data3d.pbo?
Shalashaska 0 Posted September 25, 2004 I did, the two of them. I believe another person here had a similar problem with the data3d.pbo When placing the two INQ files in the data3d.pbo, only one was overiding another file. The other did not seem to . MEDICUS 0 Posted September 25, 2004 Yes, i have the same problem, but i think if the model would be changed, too, i wouldn't be able to use Inq's NVG in MP anymore.
Sovietman 0 Posted September 26, 2004 I had the same problem, just dl and install llaumax+NVG pack, it works great. http://www.filefront.com/?filepa....ack.rar It adds New Sky,Stars,Moon, water and NVG from INQ

andersson 285 Posted October 26, 2004 Why not? If you use DXDLL1.0 you cant change the water texture if you want the nice reflective water. If you want INQ-NVgoggles with DXDLL effects here you have a temporary option.
mr burns 132 Posted October 26, 2004 here you have a temporary option. rofl  http://www.freewebs.com/andersson/FINSWElippa.jpg that pic must go into military photo´s thread
andersson 285 Posted October 27, 2004 Yeah! Thats a good picture my friend took when the group had some time off during an exercise in stockholm archipelago. Its 3 finnish coastal rangers saluting a swedish g-boat edit: if someone can host the picture I could post it into the military photo´s thread. I didnt take the picture but my friend Sipilä took it. I´m in the same group so maybe its close enough..?

Acecombat 0 Posted October 27, 2004 The water is real low , even that from the shore? Andersson i dont use DXDLL so i didnt think of it.
andersson 285 Posted October 27, 2004 Thank you placebo! No, the water isnt low as we doesnt have tidal water. The water is shallow The archipelago in Finland and Sweden are tricky to navigate because of the radical changes in depth.
