This is something I hope to release before 2005 arrives..

Those who know what it is can explain to those who are too young to know..

I would put a Beta up buts its got a rather annoying traight... it can become unstable when it moves and even worse when you shoot at it.. (present version takes around 150 5.56mm from the lowlands minimi before it dies!)

Any advice on how to fix this please contact me.

Also I would ideally like to obtain a weapon thet is both short ranged and laser like in appearance if anyone can help (at the moment its got a modifed zsu cannon, with really reduced velocity settings.

This btw is an old personal project of mine I found on my hd that I though others may have interest in.

Sorry to say but I am no good with troops so the Doctor will not be making a show.

I shall be seeing one of the few makers of Daleks who also happens to own a 'Tardis' in early November.  I will try to get plans of the Tardis (at least from an external viewpoint).

I shall try the damper stuff, and as for the Armour its been too long since I seen any shows, and cant actually remember just how good thier protection was against U.N.I.T weapons.  I think the amoundtof armour maybe about right although its easy to adjust.

Btw I have seen Micheal Sheard (Mr Bronson in Grange Hill, an Admiral in Empire Strikes Back, and Hitler in one of the Indian Jones films!) in a lower half a Dalek... I think this is far more scary than Davros.

As you may guess I have a healthy interest in sci-fi along with military history.

Ok I decided I will let a Beta out...

Now what is definately changing is I am replacing the model with a better one

The current version was a conversion of a very high Poly one, and I am making a purpose built lower poly version.

As a consequence its got no shadow, its still has a tendancy to dance when hit by bullets, and occasionally when moving..

The textures will remain quite simple as there is no need for complex weathering etc as they where always seen clean, maybe an dalek anti-dirt device (I want one for my car!!!)

Anyway it can be found under Resistance / Science Fiction (this way east or west can shoot it!!)

It is manned by 2 crew, a driver and gunner with the driver as the commander.

You may open this up but it has been binarized so you will need either p3dedit or odel explorer.  If you can fix its dancing problem then I shall be very very happy and you will certainly get credited.

As you may gather I am quite happy to share this BUT just ensure I get a mention.

The 'thing' is a Dalek from the Uk BBC Series Dr Who that showed from the 60's till the mid 80's, and is due for its next new series sometime in 2005.

The Daleks where 'bad guys', basically a big machine that a small organic thing (best way to describe what I saw in one of the episodes) could operate.  

The model you have in this beta as mentioned is going to be replaced with a better one, but it will essentially be the same size.

Having stood next to a dalek prop (I am not kidding!!!) I can say that its about 10cm shorter than I.  I am 6ft (1.82m) so I am about right with a dalek at 1.7m tall.

Btw heres the only pic I personally have of said Dalek sitting at the back of a room.
