What ever happend to the Dutch Mercedes jeep? I liked that one so much...

Those are still under construction.

We are discussing if we can release a early version, like one jeep. The other versions with weapons on it will be released later.

I would have to agree there.I don't particulally like teasers,i would much rather prefer the whole pack of jeeps.It's worth the wait, seeing how good your Dutch soldiers are.

Wonderful! My old favourite unit addon gets an overhaul!

Just one question remains.... Are there any plans to retexture FDF's or DKM's XA180? I would love to see one in Dutch colors!

EDIT: And I love the new Diemaco pack by the way, I remember downloading it when it was first released as a standalone. But it is far more useful and interesting when it comes with units smile_o.gif

One point of (slight) criticism: In the previous version, there were units with backpack and without. Now their just all without which is fine for active combat missions, but not always realistic...

Those unit's camo could pass for American and American units are the only units i can bring myself to play as. I have no clue why. Anyhow, is the flag on the arm changable through a set texture? If i could change the flag they'd be American.

Why would you want to download Dutch units only to use them as American units? For one... They use Diemaco rifles, another point is that they wear NLDPM vests and helmets! crazy_o.gif

And no... I don't think you could change their armflags... As they are made to be Dutch marines... But my guess is on that a new international soldier model is on it's way.

Anyways, good job guys...these units/Diemacos are awsome. I'm using DKMS British armour with them for now and they go quite well together on Cat's Afghan map.

The units are excellent, as is the patrol north mission up to the point where it ended automatically when one of my squads wanderd 300m off the axis of advance, thats perhaps a bit sensitive.

The automatic helmetstateshift is really the business though.

Thanks for the comments.

To answer various points raised in different posts:

A V2.1 version of the marines will fix the magazine problem for the demolitions soldier.

A backpack version of the troops will be included in a follow-on LLW pack on a later date.

The FDF Patria is being remodelled and reskinned as the Dutch GVV, but that is not yet ready for release for some time to come.

It is not possible to change the flag and play them as Americans. It would mean loss of Dutch citizenship when enlisting in a foreign army in real life. tounge_o.gif

you can also fix the thing with the M136 AT4

it can only fire one rocket, like the LAW

would it make more realistic

M136 AT and the LAW are single shot weapons if I'm not mistaken..

I think he was refering to the fact that the soldier has Three missiles to use with this weapon and he was asking if they could make it a one shot and throw away weapon.

oh, and the AT4 doesn´t fire rockets, it fires grenades, like the Carl gustaf (recoilless rifle)

so the sound, recoil and amount of ammunition is wrong...

the sound should be a "BANG" not a "swoooooosh"

and it should be virtually no recoil at all....

just a huge flame at the back and a grenade fluying the opposit direction (towards the target preferably)

If you look at this you will see the actual "rockets" are quite correct.Also it is a single shot weapon.As it states the Rocket is already in the tube.

no, its not a rocket (it doesnt have rocket propelling) it´s a fin stabilized grenade that is fired with a prpellant charge, that makes a BANG when fired (has fired it myself)

it does only have a tracer in the back... no rocket engine or anything...

I'm aware of this. Will be fixed, but other things have priority right now. Single use is not possible with add-ons like this. If we ever create a mod, it will be a discardable weapon.

AT marines in mission Patrol North have only one "magazine". Give it a try.

I beleive there is a way... I think the OFrP ABL (AT4) as a one shot only system. But it's really no big deal IMHO... Since the AI usually needs 3 shots to be as effective as a human is with one ;)

and SFP 4.0 will have AT4´s that AI discard after one shot... (atleast thats what they say)

I have a system too. But any script would have to come from unit event-handlers. I could add somehing to our units, but it only makes life harder when we will move to a mod folder.

PUKF's LAW80 already has that function. Maybe you could ask them if you could use their scripts or something.
