You can get the config.cpp here. Just unPBO the original file, replace the config and PBO it up again. I don't have enough space to host the entire file but the change is easy to do.

BTW it isn't a direct translation because I couldn't get the old characters to appear in cyrillic on my PC, so classes and names aren't exactly as they would be, just as close as I can get them without knowing what the original said for sure  smile_o.gif

I hope they're correct, just give me a shout if they're not.

Thank you fallchild and Spetznatz mod! These mines are excellent!

But tell me, to what extent do Russia still use mines? It sends chills down my spine just seeing the names of the mines and what they are supposed to do to people.

BTW, you can also fine sappers carrying the mines under the default Man class for each side, named Sapper 1,2,3 etc. Hope that helps smile_o.gif

I'd like to make one request to the Spetznatz mod, Since we can't disarm any of the mines except the AT ones, is there any chance you can add a weapon or something that allows an EOD tech to place multiple red mine flags so that we can mark minefields?

Then we would just add that to the unit of our choice like DDAM's EOD units.

IMHO, in Chechnya, mines are the best way to make an efficient ambush for the rebels(if we are government forces), and for rebels to have sucess in destroing government convoys...

fallchild, can you also translate the scripts into English? Right now you can tell very well whats a booby trap and whats not because the actions are still in gibberish on my comp tounge_o.gif

those are caltrops. drive a jeep over them and you'll see what they are meant to do  wink_o.gif

I think he means the punjabi traps wink_o.gif And no, they do not damage you, but hopefuly they fix that in the update smile_o.gif I guess it's no easy to make it work, but I still hope they manage it biggrin_o.gif

you can already mark mines. I'm not saying that they shouldn't make any fancy script im just saying in the game pull up your map and double click the spot where the mine is, then press down to get the different symbol you may want to use , then press enter to finish placing the marker.

Well, then you would have to guide yourself through the mission using the map...well, maybe not, but most ppl like realistic missions, and therefor it would be nice to be able to mark mines. Also, if you just place a marker on the map you may forget that you're in that area and walk straight into the mines.

You mean the pungi with the wire trap rock.gif , works perfect here, doesnt kill right away but in a few seconds maybe due to the injury or poison, very nice smile_o.gif .

It works very well for me, and the same for a.i. rock.gif .

Hi.

I just played around with your mine pack and i must say a where really impressed. No triggers needed or anything.

But as lot of other people already mentioned it needs english ingame names for most to use them. But from reading this thread i can understand you are doing this for the next version (Any aprox. eta for it). Some other things you should consider for the next upgrade.

-English explanation in the read me part. You already have the russian with pictures, so wold just be a translation.

-Changing the ingame menu's so so each menu's hold one type of mines. Currently the menu's doesnt make sence. Probebly because i dont understand russian. But something like this seems more logical and easier.

-Anti Personel Mines

-Anti Tank Mines

-Trip wires

-Electrical mines (Have both electric triggers and mines here)

-Booby traps (ak, radio and so on)

-Crates

-I really dont understand the crates? There are no mines in them and sinci you cant pick up the other mines what the idea with them??
